And people in Australia who are currently faced with the same cigarette packaging and smoking restrictions — and who aren’t pleased with the “over the top” degree of state intervention — seem to feel the same way. To combat the creeping effects of government intrusion, Australia’s tobacco industry has launched a“No Nanny State” ad campaign, featuring a dour-faced Nanny instructing you to “do as you’re told.” She also doesn’t seem to mind collecting her tax-dollars from each sinful pack of cigarettes:"
