Just four years ago, there was little debate about unchecked federal spending, and it looked like cap and trade was going to be implemented as part of Barack Obama’s “hope and change” plan to diminish this nation. And until a spontaneous citizens’ movement called the tea party started gaining ground, Democrats controlled the House and had a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. Rally for Rush....This IS important!
This is an EXCELLENT article. This isn't just about Rush...it's about FINALLY fighting back!
I contacted Pro Flowers about this because I think they are a GREAT company and I was so disappointed they left. Did it yesterday before I saw this article. They got pretty argumentative in their reply. I told them they had every right to leave Rush, as I and my Family and many customers had the right to leave them. We have.
I sent Carbonite a missive because we had just set up to use Cabonite with our business and personal computers....never heard a word from them. Reading this article kind of explains that!
We use Lifelock....a TERRIFIC service...they are hanging in - we will too. The one thing about Rush is that I know the products that advertise on his show are quality. I don't even worry if I go to one of his advertisers. I know I'll never be disappointed.
Be careful what you wish for advertisers. You can lose alot of GOOD customers.....

I Tried to Open a Lemonade Stand by John Stossel.......
We went through something similar when we tried to have a cookout to thank supporters of our Christmas Parade.
Hot Dogs & hamburgers turned into a bureaucratic nightmare. They ( the government ) succeeded though.
We no longer do the business association, cook-outs or the Christmas Parade. Nobody had the time nor the money to deal with the insanity....
In Midway, Ga., a 14-year-old girl and her 10-year-old sister sold lemonade from their front yard. Two police officers bought some. But the next day, different officers ordered them to close their stand.
Their father went to city hall to try to find out why. The clerk laughed and said she didn't know. Eventually, Police Chief Kelly Morningstar explained, "We were not aware of how the lemonade was made, who made the lemonade and of what the lemonade was made with."

Pentagon officials will continue pressing in 2013 for significantly higher Tricare fees for military retirees, including older retirees covered by Tricare for Life, as well as higher drug co-pays for all Tricare beneficiaries.
The Defense Department’s proposed 2013 budget calls for annual enrollment fees for retirees in Tricare Prime to rise next year by 30 percent to 78 percent, from the current $460 or $520 for families to between $600 and $820, depending on military retirement income.

I have no health insurance. We did - our Company offered it paid 100% for almost 25 years....then Romneycare came into play....that coupled with the Recession....and something had to give if our small business was to survive.
Everyone here was on their own for healthcare.
Because of the Recession, we don't always (?) get paid....more like almost never as owners. We cannot afford the $1400.00 a month for health insurance.
If we could buy insurance like Progressive Insurance....A la Carte....we'd probably be fine....but no.
With Romneycare we're paying for everyone...and that knocks us out of line.
We pay all our doctor bills out of pocket. A novel concept these days apparently.
Always paid in full...and yet, at years end...we owe no one, we take responsibility for our actions and bills...and we're still fined for not having insurance.

Tim Thomas - All-Star Goalie for the Boston Bruins has opinions.
He has no problem standing behind his opinion. That in and of itself is refreshing.
His problem however.....at least as far as the media is concerned is that he doesn't really like the present Administration.
He doesn't say it outright.
It's obvious in his posted quotes and in his actions.
For that....in Massachusetts....the Land of Obama - he is considered wrong.

I am not overtly religious. I have my beliefs. And one of them is live and let live. Why, in this country, are we constantly allowing the wants of the one to outweigh the beliefs of the many?
What harm...seriously, what harm did this banner cause? It hung for decades without so much as a peep...then this organized nationwide atheist assault on anything religious descended on this school. They know how to manipulate the system.
They KNOW that municipalities, companies etc...etc...where these displays sit today cannot withstand the court costs.
They KNOW how to strip us of our humanity little steps at a time.
Nudge.....nudge.....little tiny incidents at a time....till there aren't any left and WE have ALLOWED them to win.
It's up to us to hold firm ground. It's up to us to say NO. Our freedom's and core beliefs are being stripped from us each and every day and we are turning a blind eye.
This scholarship comes as the local school board has decided not to appeal the judge’s decision. As a result, the banner is likely going to be taken down in the near future. The local battle Ahlquist waged against the mural has already stripped the school district of more than $170,000.

President Obama has delivered the last budget of his term. Three of the four, including this one, were submitted late, shattering the previous record for an administration. Each of the four proposed more than $1 trillion in higher taxes on hard-working families and businesses, along with trillions in new spending and borrowing instead of a real strategy for growth and jobs. And — most disappointing of all — none of the four offered a credible plan to lift the crushing burden of debt, thus committing current and future generations to diminished prosperity and a nation in decline.

Our Freedom goes away bit by bit by bit....
How can the centralized State accumulate unlimited power, while still retaining the outward form of a democracy? This question has been the obsession of the American Left for over a century. The answer lies in subduing the middle class, which is always the deadly enemy of statism. To subdue the middle class, it must be made dependent upon the State. Middle class voters must, at some critical juncture, voluntarily relinquish a terminal amount of their economic freedom. The trick is keeping them quiet while the State passes the event horizon of growth.

Common Sense: A matter of conscience ....
I'm a lapsed Catholic....I'm not sure "who" God is....but I know he exists. I couldn't look into my grand kids faces without knowing this. Conscience does matter. This is just the tip of the iceberg. If we don't draw our line in the sand NOW, we'll soon suffer the same fate as the Titanic.
During World War II, the War Department and the Department of the Navy urged -- the operative word is "urged," not "ordered," mind you -- U.S. military chaplains to encourage soldiers, sailors, airmen, guardsmen and Marines that God was on our side in the global battle against fascists, Nazis and the godless heathens running rampant across Asia and the Pacific. The hymns "Onward, Christian Soldiers" and "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" were sung with fervor at chapel services regardless of denomination.

Palin zeroed in on President Obama. The current state of the economy "is not a failure of the American people," she said. "It is the failure of leadership. We know how to change that, oh yes we do. Oh yes we can," she said, echoing Obama's campaign line.
"Hope and change – yeah, you gotta hope things change."
"He says he has a jobs plan to win the future. WTF, I know," Palin said, spelling out W-T-F.
