Selective Lincoln Quote.....

On Wednesday during a speech in Parma, Ohio, President Obama decided to quote a former President to help justify his policy initiatives:

“But in the words of the first Republican President, Abraham Lincoln, I also believe that government should do for the people what they cannot do better for themselves”."

Maine City Considers Giving Non-U.S. Citizens Voting Rights | The Blaze

I am very curious why "ILLEGAL" only pertains to CITIZENS.....but not to ILLEGAL ALIENS.....ILLEGAL!

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Like his neighbors, Claude Rwaganje pays taxes on his income and taxes on his cars. His children have gone to Portland’s public schools. He‘s interested in the workings of Maine’s largest city, which he has called home for 13 years.

There’s one vital difference, though: Rwaganje isn’t a U.S. citizen and isn’t allowed to vote on those taxes or on school issues. That may soon change."

Woah: Biden Claims GOP Spending ‘$200 Billion’ on Campaign Ads | The Blaze:

“I was amazed at the amount of money, this $200 billion of money that is — where there’s no accountability,” Vice President Joe Biden told Bloomberg. “When I say accountability, we don’t know where it’s coming from. There’s no disclosure, so the folks watching the ad can’t make a judgment based upon motive when you say it’s paid for by so-and-so,” he said."

Obama Event Shock: Union Fires Stagehand for Wearing ‘U.S.S. George H.W. Bush’ Shirt & Hat | The Blaze

November 2nd....that day YOU hold the power....the finest and most terrifying power and weapon known to man......your VOTE!!!

Duane Hammet’s son has been serving in the Navy for three years. While at work recently, Hammond was sporting a sweatshirt and hat depicting his son’s ship, the USS George H. W. Bush. “Work” for Hammond is as a union stagehand, and while setting up for an Obama rally in L.A. today, his employer didn’t take too kindly to the name on his clothes."

Former ACORN Official Condemns Voters’ Spontaneous Pledge of Allegiance | The Blaze

There is no stopping "We the People" unless we allow ourselves to be stopped...

At a debate sponsored by the Illinois League of Women Voters between Democratic incumbent Rep. Melissa Bean, GOP challenger Joe Walsh and Green Party candidate Bill Scheurer Wednesday, the audience loudly objected when the moderator, Kathy Tate-Bradish, insisted on proceeding without reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. In the end, she didn’t stand a chance against the 300-member audience. The camera captures Republican Joe Walsh’s reaction:"

The Rules of the Game and Economic Recovery

The Rules of the Game and Economic Recovery:

The Monopoly board game originated during the Great Depression. At first its inventor, Charles Darrow, could not interest manufacturers. Parker Brothers turned the game down, citing “52 design errors.” But Darrow produced his own copies of the game, and Parker Brothers finally bought Monopoly. By 1935, the New York Times was reporting that “leading all other board games … is the season’s craze, ‘Monopoly,’ the game of real estate.”"

American Thinker: America's Casting Call

American Thinker: America's Casting Call:

I confess: Sometimes, after a long day of political blogging and all the infuriating news relayed by Fox I can take, I reach for the comfort mind-food of my stack of well-worn DVDs. There are a few that I shamelessly enjoy watching repeatedly, to the point that I have most of the lines memorized. Many of these movies are not just the usual lighthearted 'chick flicks' you might expect. Instead, epic films of inspiring heroes captivate me most -- favorites like Gladiator (2000), Braveheart (1995), and The Patriot (2000), and of course, I can't leave out the classic Tombstone (1993). 'Itn't that a daisy?'"

American Thinker: How the Constitution Is Read

American Thinker: How the Constitution Is Read:

There is an obvious disconnect concerning the Constitution between the Tea Party crowd and the establishment of both major political parties. This was evidenced most recently in a clip on CNN of an exchange between Eliot Spitzer and Dana Loesch. Loesch is a founder of the Saint Louis Tea Party and Editor in Chief of Breitbart's Big Journalism. Ostensibly, Loesch had been invited on the Parker Spitzer Show to discuss the upcoming election and the role of Tea Party organizations in the campaigns, but for Spitzer, it was an ambush, and it didn't take him long to drop the gloves and come out swinging."

Obama mission: Billions to Pakistan, billions from India - The Economic Times

Obama mission: Billions to Pakistan, billions from India - The Economic Times:

WASHINGTON: The Obama administration is lining up at least $ 2 billion in fresh, new military aid to Pakistan even as it is lobbying for billions of dollars in defense sales to India ahead of the US President's visit to the region early November.

Two weeks before the India trip however, the US is all set to shower yet another round of military largesse on its dubious ally, ostensibly to help it fight extremists, who by Washington's own accounts are fostered, protected, and promoted by Pakistan."

Barack and Michelle's Mumbai darshan plans - The Economic Times

Barack and Michelle's Mumbai darshan plans - The Economic Times:

To ensure fool-proof security, the President’s team has booked the entire the Taj Mahal Hotel, including 570 rooms, all banquets and restaurants. Since his security contingent and staff will comprise a huge number, 125 rooms at Taj President have also been booked, apart from 80 to 90 rooms each in Grand Hyatt and The Oberoi hotels. The NCPA, where the President is expected to meet representatives from the business community, has also been entirely booked."

Congressman: Military Service Doesn’t Equal Public Service | The Blaze

Why should this remark and frame of reference surprise anyone? SO many of the Elites sniff at the military. They see them as just those who couldn't succeed on the outside and thus learn to break things and blow things up at our pleasure.
They don't see them as our greatest treasure....Those so willing to give that last full measure of devotion so many of these cowards couldn't imagine doing.

Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) has some explaining to do to the nation’s veterans. While attacking his opponent, Republican Patrick Murray, Moran said Republicans use “stealth candidates, that haven’t been in office, haven’t served or performed in any kind of public service.“ He said Murray is a ”typical” example.

There’s just one problem. Patrick Murray is Colonel Patrick Murray, and he served 24 years in the Army."

Pat attention! This is dangerous....and it's not hysterical rants ( though almost always proved correct ) of Glenn Back....It is, however, what he warned us all of ...and it's HERE...

American Thinker: All the News that Fits Soros's Agenda:

Are three liberal billionaires trying to control what we think of as news in America?

Hedge fund billionaire George Soros, the sugar daddy of the Democratic Party, has given NPR an initial grant of $1.8 million to begin a project called Impact of Government that will allow NPR to hire one hundred journalists at NPR member stations in all fifty states. The focus will be covering state governments and how their actions affect people. The New York Times reports the response of Vivian Schiller, NPR's president and chief executive:"

American Thinker Blog: Obama's Teleprompter Embarrassment in India

Now TOTUS is becoming as embarrishing as POTUS...Jeezzzzz.....

The pathetic inability of Barack Obama to speak without the help of a teleprompter will be showcased to the world's most populous democracy when the president flees the electoral aftermath and decamps for India after the November electiona. Daily News and Analysis India reports:

A teleprompter will be in use for the first time in the Central Hall of Parliament when US President Barack Obama addresses MPs on November eight."

Cyber Attack Strikes FreedomWorks - Washington Wire - WSJ

They can't battle us in the arena of ideas...so instead they'll battle us by crashing machines. You can kill a Server...but not the mind that runs it!

Cyber Attack Strikes FreedomWorks - Washington Wire - WSJ:

A mysterious cyber attack apparently struck the computer servers at the pro-tea party group FreedomWorks this morning, just as it launched a major fund-raising drive.

FreedomWorks officials are investigating, but they suspect they were attacked deliberately, perhaps by a political opponent seeking the thwart its fund-raising efforts."

Bush speaks in Chicago, plugs new book - Chicago Breaking News

I don't miss his fiscal policies...but I miss his unabashed love for this country and his Class...something so so sorely missing from Washington these days.

Bush speaks in Chicago:

I have zero desire, just so you know, to be in the limelight,' Bush said. 'I don't think it's good for the country to have a former president criticize his successor. You're not going to see me giving my opinions in the public arena, until I start selling my book. I'm going to emerge then submerge.'"
