Haters go nuclear over Sarah Palin’s Columbus Day tweet....
How is it after ALL these years of harping about the Right adhere fiercely - less you be thundered down upon - to the "Civility Memo" espoused by Obama.....the Left hasn't gotten it yet? Curious....
Palin-haters on Twitter have always been a particularly vile species of troll, but it seems like they brought a little extra crazy to the party for Columbus Day. Here’s the tweet that started the frenzy:

My Way News - Palin to tea party rally: Don't sit down, shut up
Palin to tea party rally: Don't sit down, shut up:
SEARCHLIGHT, Nev. (AP) - Sarah Palin told thousands of tea party activists assembled in the dusty Nevada desert Saturday that Sen. Harry Reid will have to explain his votes when he comes back to his hometown to campaign.
The wind whipped U.S. flags behind the former Alaska governor as she stood on a makeshift stage, holding a microphone and her notes and speaking to a cheering crowd. She told them Reid, fighting for re-election, is 'gambling away our future.'
'Someone needs to tell him, this is not a crapshoot,' Palin said."

Sarah Palin: A Leader Without A Party
American Thinker: Sarah Palin: A Leader Without A Party:
The Democrats -- and the Republicans too -- may find the next stage of Sarah Palin's public career uncomfortable. True to form, Sarah Palin, her Governorship behind her, clearly and forthrightly declared her intent: to take up arms against the forces dedicated to tearing down our Constitution, destroying our principles of government, disparaging our history of defense of democracy and free enterprise, weakening our military, and saddling generations to come with oppressive debt and entitlement programs.

Sarah Palin vs. the Marquis de Sade
I often....heck, I think daily watching these varied circus acts transpire and wonder just what would be happening if the shoe was on the other foot...I can't imagine....
American Thinker: Sarah Palin vs. the Marquis de Sade:
I grew up with a mean older brother who was ten when I came on the scene. Family lore is that Tom ran away when my mother left to deliver me. When she returned he responded with disgust, 'At least you could have brought me home a brother.'
Tom's main passion in life was tormenting me. He delighted in mocking me, scaring me, making me cry. He'd laugh and make this strange, guttural sound when he saw my terror. As I got older, he enjoyed more menacing methods of torture, like holding me down and pretending to suffocate me."

Rush Limbaugh Comments on Sarah Palin's Resignation
Rush Limbaugh Comments on Sarah Palin's Resignation:
"RUSH: This is Rush. I’m on a golf vacation, parts unknown, all week long. Six cities, six courses, starting today. On this Palin business, you know, one of the reasons I haven’t said anything to anybody is I don’t know what this means – and I think all of this is just speculation. We don’t know what her reasons for doing this are yet. The speculation here and the predictions here rival some of the irresponsibility I saw with people speculating on the cause of death of Michael Jackson when nobody knew – and we still don’t know with Michael Jackson. We think we do but we don’t. We haven’t had an official autopsy report."

Republican pundits open fire on Sarah Palin - Los Angeles Times
And the GOP wonders "why" so many of us are leaving the Party....
This behavior illustrates once again there is NO difference bewtween the Democratic "leaders" in Washington to the current Republican leaders in Congress....NONE of them get it!!!
Me thinks it's time to get them ALL OUT! Term Limits!!!!!!!!!!!
Republican pundits open fire on Sarah Palin - Los Angeles Times:
Since announcing her resignation, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has been pummeled by critics who have called her incoherent, a quitter, a joke and a 'political train wreck.'
And those were fellow Republicans talking."

The Truth About Sarah Palin’s Resignation
The Truth About Sarah Palin’s Resignation: "...I started to wonder how in the world anyone in her position could even hope to get anything done, or why, under the conditions she was facing, anyone would even bother trying. But I had come to see Sarah Palin as something of a “Superwoman” who was not bound by the limitations of mere mortal mothers of five and I figured maybe I was just being too pessimistic... when I started my new Los Angeles radio show and Palin graciously agreed to be my first guest, I did make sure to ask her point blank whether she ever considered walking away from public office because of the attacks on her family and the dastardly attempts to destroy her ability to do her job. Her response at the time startled me with its honesty..."

American Thinker: Sarah Palin: The Best is Yet to Come
American Thinker: Sarah Palin: The Best is Yet to Come:
The response to Sarah Palin's surprise resignation last Friday clearly reveals the limitations of the American political class, right, left, or what have you.
There's an old academic joke, probably apocryphal, about Count Metternich, Austria's foreign minister during the Napoleonic era. While attending the Congress of Vienna, Metternich is sleeping off a banquet when one of his aides bursts in at three in the morning. 'Your excellency! Count Nesselrode, the Russian ambassador, just died.'"

Palin takes to Web for hints of political future
My Way News - Palin takes to Web for hints of political future: "'I can say definitively I am aware of no criminal investigation whatsoever involving Sarah Palin. Zero,' he said.
The FBI reiterated that claim Saturday, telling the Los Angeles Times for a story Sunday that the Federal Bureau of Investigation was not investigating Palin's activities as governor, a former mayor or in any other capacity.
'There is absolutely no truth to those rumors that we're investigating her or getting ready to indict her,' Special Agent Eric Gonzalez, the bureau's Alaska spokesman, said."

New York Times Barbie strikes again - Washington Times
BREITBART: New York Times Barbie strikes again - Washington Times: "What a shock that Maureen Dowd devoted her New York Times column Sunday to attack Sarah Palin. It did not so much criticize Alaska's governor for prematurely stepping down from her official duties as to finish off what sister snipers Katie Couric and Tina Fey began last fall.
The assassination of Sarah Palin - by media."

Jim Geraghty has some interesting insights about why liberals hate Sarah Palin so much -- in a word (or so), it's because she invalidates the most cherished parts of their world view."

American Thinker: Sarah Palin, the 21st Century 'It' Girl:
The best and the brightest on the left go into politics. The best on the right run their own businesses. So it is no surprise that the left is far more adept, even expert at the art of hardball politics. And they are telling us something profound."

Palin vs. Obama, the Press, comedians, feminists, pop culture...:
Sarah Palin is back in the news again, as is Newt. Newt’s presidential hopes are toast; the libs have indelibly demonized him. Sarah, on the other hand, still has a fighting chance.
If Palin wants to be the 2012 nominee, she needs to come out swinging now. She has to redeem herself after the dog-piling she received from the Democrats, the press, the comedians, supposed feminists, and pop culture in general. Even fellow Repubs left her twisting in the wind. Hell, McCain showed more anger at perceived slights against Obama than he did towards the Palin smears."

The Palin Seminar on Moderate Women
American Thinker: The Palin Seminar on Moderate Women:
Sarah Palin's speech to the folks at Vanderburgh County Right to Life last month didn't seem to get on the national political radar. But if you get a chance to review the YouTube video, it's worth it.
Governor Palin (R-AK) may have been giving a speech to conservative pro-lifers in Evansville, Indiana, on April 16, 2009, but the speech was an arrow aimed right over the heads of the conservatives present towards the hearts of moderate women voters everywhere."
