Speaking with reporters after meeting with various groups about gun violence last week, VP Biden made it clear that part of the gun control he and President Obama are pursuing includes not simply ending gun shows, but ending the transfer of firearms.

"Gun advocates see these incidents as almost cyclical and that in the wake of a national shooting incident, they have seen repeated calls for control," he said Monday. Also a concern is a major gun manufacturer in upstate New York.

Gun shows are a different matter in my book since I'm told that they don't perform background checks at gun shows. Why that loophole exists is a mystery to me, and closing it doesn't seem like too much to ask. The background checks that all of us have to endure when we purchase a rifle, shotgun, or pistol in a gun store may not be perfect, but they discourage known felons and people with a history of mental illness from attempting to buy guns.

I love Jeremy Renner, but has he EVER been in a film of merit that didn't have a weapon? The Avengers, The Town, Hansel & Gretel, The Hurt Locker, The Bourne Legacy, Ghost Protocol  - come on!......I loved all the films...but as an anti-gun advocate???....Please!

For example, after a brief search, I was able to find that two of the actors in the “demand a plan” video were also involved in the 2010 movie "The Town." Question: what was anyone from that movie doing in a public conversation on gun violence? "The Town" was so violent that a Time magazine review called one of the characters in the movie “trigger happy.” No one associated with that movie, like Jon Hamm and Jeremy Renner, should be part of any discussion concerning gun violence. Maybe these actors thought no one would research their previous movie credits, but now that the news is out it looks pretty hypocritical.

These days, there are few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA, but at least so far, one thing remains: the right to bear arms and use deadly force to defend one's self and possessions.

This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, when we were free under the Tsar. Weapons, from swords and spears to pistols, rifles and shotguns were everywhere, common items. People carried them concealed, they carried them holstered. Fighting knives were a prominent part of many traditional attires and those little tubes criss crossing on the costumes of Cossacks and various Caucasian peoples? Well those are bullet holders for rifles.

The Left Is convinced Americans won't fight for 2nd Amendment rights....

People just do not realize how the 2nd protects all the other amendments....especially the First....

Maybe Democrats are confident that fallout from Sandy Hook will provide the floor votes necessary to disarm the American people. But if the Left is willing to risk picking this fight with millions of American gun owners, it must also believe something far more important—that Americans who have spent years arming themselves against the ultimate expression of tyranny by their own government–the overthrow of the Second Amendment– will choose to not fight when the time finally comes.

All the wanton murders due to Fast & Furious (estimated at 300 or more) do not appear equal to one life lost at Sandy Hook. The key fallacy of so-called gun control laws is that such laws do not in fact control guns. They simply disarm law-abiding citizens, while people bent on violence find firearms readily available.

MSNBC’s Ed Schultz Talks Gun ‘Confiscation’ .....

Liberals always say they don’t want to take away guns. But give them an awful tragedy like the Newtown, Conn. shooting and they get bolder and more honest. MSNBC host Ed Schultz showed a rare bout of such honesty during a brief Twitter exchange Saturday. Schultz asked “Why should anyone own an assault rifle ?” and followed it up by saying “it's the confiscation of these types of weapons that counts and will have an impact.”

“The Ed Show” host wasn’t done his attack on gun rights. “The NRA needs to state the case why assault weapons are needed by anyone,” he claimed. And after that, he told one poster that “a Glock pistol qualifies as an assault weapon.” That last bit is surely a surprise to both gun owners and Congress which didn’t include handguns in its previous assault weapons ban.

Ultimately, Schultz talked of changing the Constitution to one person on Twitter. “We are the Constitution and we as a people can change whatever we want. Get ready Dude !” he wrote.

The Bath School disaster is the name given to three bombings in Bath Township, Michigan, on May 18, 1927, which killed 38 elementary school children, two teachers, and four other adults; at least 58 people were injured. The perpetrator died of suicide in one of the explosions as well. Most of the victims were children in the second to sixth grades (7–14 years of age[1]) attending the Bath Consolidated School. Their deaths constitute the deadliest mass murder in a school in United States history.

The bomber was the school board treasurer Andrew Kehoe, 55, who had opposed construction of the consolidated school in the early 1920s as it required increased property taxes. His wife was ill with tuberculosis and he was financially stressed, as he had stopped making mortgage payments and was under pressure for foreclosure. For a year, he carried out steps in a plan to destroy the school by explosives.

Some time between May 16 and the morning of May 18, Kehoe murdered his wife by beating her to death. On the morning of May 18 about 8:45, Kehoe exploded incendiary devices in his farm buildings and house, setting them on fire.

It serves as a framework for the new list the Brady’s plan to introduce shortly.

I have an outline of the Brady’s current plans and targets of opportunity. It’s horrific. They’re going after the courts, regulatory agencies, firearms dealers and statutes in an all out effort to restrict we the people. They’ve made little mention of criminals.
