The Massachusetts Republican Party today filed a complaint with the Supreme Judicial Court regarding partisan statements made by Michael Frederickson the General Counsel for the Board of Bar Overseers. Frederickson made comments which have blunted criticism of Warren practicing without a law license. Comments he never should have made. here is the press release from the MassGOP.

I keep hearing from the liberals in this State that this is "nothing"...let's concentrate on the "bigger" issues...
Well...if the shoe was on the other foot...it would be RAGING headlines....not cricket chirps...

However....it does speak to "Character"...something lacking in MANY of the Leaders we elect these days.
I don't want a saint...I want one of us....
I don't want a lawyer...I'd really like a business person...

However...we get lied to ENOUGH....we don't need to elect a serial liar who will just be a rubber stamp for the democratic agenda. 
Scott....he's a wild card that keeps me tearing my hair out....but maybe that more of what we need.....at LEAST in Massachusetts!

A couple of days ago, Professor William Jacobson of Legal Insurrection stated that Elizabeth Warren may be practicing law in Massachusetts without a license. Jacobson has followed up with a number of posts at the blog, and Powerline Blog's John Hinderaker, himself a lawyer has a post up today explaining that you can't practice law federally without a state license. Red Mass Group has also learned that she is not eligible to have an inactive law degree in Texas, and may have illegally listed herself as inactive. Here is her Texas bar record as obtained today.

 Confronted with a swarm of dead-eyed warriors right off the Daily Kos blogroll, a couple of Massachusetts guys in backwards baseball caps tried to lighten the mood. After trying out the chant "Yankees suck," the pro-Brown guys started doing the Atlanta Braves tomahawk chop, smiles on their faces. It was a lighthearted reference to Professor Warren's most publicized embarrassment.

Did Elizabeth Warren Really Practice Law in Massachusetts Without a License? .....

Last night I glanced at my TV and saw the often posted "Breaking News"...it was Brown's supporters doing the tomahawk chop while on some stand out. 
This was breaking news...? 
THIS WAS BREAKING NEWS!?!?!?! 
I went to a KC Chiefs game and about 80/M people were doing the same thing!
EVERYONE is "offended" "Insulted" "Bullied" Appalled"....GET OVER IT.....

However, this does not conclude the issue. There would still need to be an attorney licensed in Mass. who moved for Ms. Warren to be admitted pro hac vice for the case at hand. Such a document would have to be in the docket of the case as to which she was representing her client. If Ms. Warren simply filed pleadings without first being admitted to the court pro hac vice, she would be implicitly representing to the court that she was, in fact, licensed to practice in Mass., and if she was not so licensed, she would have violated the court’s rules, and, in effect, have committed a fraud upon the court.
