Unions are the 1-percenters in Massachusetts.......

I'm sooooooooooooo surprised.....yawn...No I'm not.....

DURING THE recent campaign, Massachusetts Democrats denounced widening income inequality and the excessive influence Wall Street and other big business interests have over our politics. On the national level, it’s a persuasive argument.

But here in the Commonwealth, electing the candidates who made those arguments was like voting to maintain the Bush tax cuts. Because in Massachusetts politics, organized labor is the ultimate 1 Percenter and the rest of us are Occupiers.

Will Scott Brown's Senate Departure Prove Brief?.....

Brown has not publicly said whether he would seek a return to the upper chamber, but close observers of Massachusetts politics have few doubts that the politically gifted, charismatic, and generally popular Republican would strongly consider a bid to duplicate his special election victory in 2010, when he claimed the seat long held by Ted Kennedy.

“From what I hear from people who’ve talked to Brown and are close to him, he definitely has interest in the special, if it happens,” said a Massachusetts Republican strategist. “But he hasn’t made up his mind that if it happens, he’s definitely going to run. He’s waiting to see where the appointment process goes, and then he’ll decide.”

Brown Beats Warren in Character.....

And then came a moment largely unprecedented, even in modern politics. "You took on the powerful Wall Street banks and special interests and you let them know you want a senator who will be out there fighting for the middle class all of the time," Warren thundered as her supporters let out their loudest and most forceful cheer. Last night, we witnessed a Harvard Law School professor defeat an Army National Guard Colonel in his own home state and then disparage him in her victory speech.

Brown -- Not Good Enough.....

Really.....Warren has "stature"...really.....OK....if you say so....

In the end, Scott Brown was just too small to be a US Senator from Massachusetts.

Oh, there are plenty of things to say about why the race went the way it did -- and I'll write many of them when I've had a little bit of sleep.

But Massachusetts expects their Senators to be big figures. National figures. People who have purpose and stature.

Elizabeth Warren, whether you like everything she has to say, and whether she ends up being a good Senator, surely qualifies. You know what issues and passions drive her; you sense that she wants to shape the Commonwealth and the country.

You saw her speak in a major prime-time slot at the national convention; you saw her defend her ideas at a Senate hearing; you saw her on 60 Minutes and the cover of Time.

Brown is small, and grew smaller as the campaign progressed.

If Romney wins, Mass. can expect big changes ....

This sounds like ABSOLUTE Heaven to me!

Watch for major changes in Massachusetts government and politics in the event Mitt Romney becomes president.

A Romney win would mean U.S. Sen. John Kerry will not become secretary of state in a second Obama administration, a job he has coveted shamelessly. In addition, Romney surely will target Kerry for defeat if Kerry seeks reelection in 2014.

Kerry, in the last days of the presidential campaign, has not only gone out of his way to attack the former Massachusetts governor but has mocked him as well. Kerry played Romney in the three of President Barack Obama's television practice debates. After the third, Kerry said he needed an "exorcism" to get Romney out of his system. It was supposed to be a joke.

No debate about it, Scott Brown made the right call....

Good for U.S. Sen. Scott Brown. Why should he do the Globe a favor and show up at their fakakta debate?

So he can listen yet again to Granny Warren yapping about the middle class getting “hammered,” and how Brown voted against a bill to produce “jobs” (which in this context means taxes)? How much more nonsense does he have to hear about Roe v. Wade?

Trick or treat indeed.

Union-backed super PAC raises questions from Republicans....

The Mass Values Independent Expenditure PAC will file its financial disclosures on Monday, and they will show that it received $75,000 each from the Massachusetts Teachers Association and the Service Employees International Union Local 1199, as well as $10,000 from SEIU Local 509, and $2,000 from MassEquality, the organization’s spokesman Steve Crawford said.

Brown, Warren cancel tomorrow’s Senate debate.....

“The Scott Brown campaign today announced that out of concern for the hardship faced by people in the path of Hurricane Sandy that he will not be participating in tomorrow’s fourth and final debate,” campaign spokesman Colin Reed said in a statement. “It is simply not appropriate to go forward with a political debate when a disaster strikes. The focus for all of us before, during and after the storm, needs to be on emergency response and disaster relief, not campaigns and politics.”

Shortly after, Warren bowed out of the event.

Governor Chris Christie, singer James Taylor campaign on opposite sides of Mass. Senate battle.....

One is a two-fisted Republican rock star known for his mince-no-words confrontations with unionized teachers, liberal activists, and other who dare to cross him. The other is a gentle troubadour known for his melancholy ballads of love and loss.

On Wednesday, both hit the campaign trail in Massachusetts.

Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey told reporters in Watertown that Senator Scott Brown would help break the gridlock in Washington.

Five Year Old Massachusetts Girl Olivia Endorses Scott Brown Video....

With the race for the U.S. Senate seat coming down to its final days, both candidates have been scrambling to secure as many votes and endorsements as possible.

The latest endorsement, however, comes from Olivia, who is supporting U.S. Senator Scott Brown because he is “good for the country” and for Massachusetts, she said.

Unions Admit to Fining Workers who don't Participate in Political Rallys....

Unions Admit to Fining Workers who don't Participate in Political Rallys

Elizabeth Warren and her Chicago union pals......

Read this Massachusetts......they are buying her election....

Elizabeth Warren is as far left wing as they come so unions know that jacking her up with the deep pockets of the union members’ (dues) bank accounts will practically (buy) insure her election to the Senate. Unions make up less than 12% of the entire workforce in the country and less than 17% in Massachusetts. Warren’s symbiotic relationship with them shows her failure to care about the rest of the state or country who are not union.

Warren on Biden: No Friend to Women ......

In “Two Income Trap,” a book she co-wrote with her daughter Amelia Warren Tyagi, Warren describes briefing Hillary Clinton, when she was first lady, about the bankruptcy bill backed by the financial industry. “It’s our job to stop that awful bill,” Warren quotes Clinton as saying. But several years later, when the bill came up for passage, Senator Clinton voted for it. “The bill was essentially the same but Hillary Rodham Clinton was not,” Warren wrote. As senator, “she could not afford such a principaled position…” When the bill finally passed, in 2005, then-Senator Joseph Biden was one of its biggest backers. “Senators like Joe Biden should not be allowed to sell out women in the morning and be heralded as their friend in the evening,” Warren said.

Unions Fine Members Who Don't Show Support for Elizabeth Warren......

We held Brown signs at the Lowell, Ma. debate and we were surrounded by Carpenter's Union, UAW, Teamsters, Firefighters...... yada, yada...............

This isn't the first instance in a Massachusetts Senate race where unions have been accused of generating fake grassroots support for the Democrat.

In 2010, before Brown's victory in the special election, a union member wearing a shirt supporting the Democratic candidate, Martha Coakley, told a local blogger on camera that he had been paid $50 to wear the shirt but that he was actually voting for Brown.

What Elizabeth Warren Teaches Us About Affirmative Action....

From the start, the blond, blue-eyed Warren had a lot of explaining to do about why she used such a tenuous claim to minority status to beat out other applicants for law school faculty positions at the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Then things got worse for Warren when she had to admit that even the distant Cherokee connection she claims has no verifiable basis in fact.

Liz Warren loses her way even in land of moonbats ....

I swear if I hear "The Middle Class is getting hammered"ONE MORE TIME....my head will explode.

But Granny last night dusted off a new favorite word — investment. This can likely be attributed to the debating tips she got from Mike Dukakis — did he phone in from his tank? The Duke always loved the word “invest” in all its variations. Usually he was talking about investing in a “national model.”

Talk about a dog whistle for hacks. They know what an investment is. It’s a tax on somebody who works to be given to somebody who doesn’t. It’s an investment “in the future.” Their future, not yours.

Senate rivals hit hard on policy in Round 3....

I so tire of the class rhetoric from the Left - fair this-fair that.....STOP!

“I believe that everybody pays a fair share, even millionaires, even billionaires, even big oil companies, and when everybody pays a fair share, we can all make the investments in the future,” she said.

Brown and Warren expressed some of their sharpest disagreements over Obama’s health care law, which Brown wants to repeal and which Warren supports.

“This is a jobs-crushing bill that is going to crush Massachusetts businesses,” Brown said.

Brown and Warren To Square Off in Third Debate....

Warren said she will focus on job creation in the debate.

“The next debate I hope will be about the issues that matter here to families in the commonwealth of Massachusetts. We’ve got 200,000 people who are unemployed so it should be about jobs,” she said, the Herald reported.

Something important is happening in Massachusetts......

The Senate race between Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren is being shaped by the efforts of a blogger, Professor William Jacobson, of Legal Insurrection. This very high profile race reveals how important the internet has become to political discourse. Once upon a time, only newspapers could launch inquiries and crusades that determined the fate of powerful politicians, but now a single, intelligent, skilled, and determined individual like Jacobson can take on the might of the liberal establishment in Massachusetts, arguably the state most dominated by the academic and machine Democrat factions of the left, and give them a serious fight.

MassGOP lodges complaint on BBO General Counsel surrounding comments regarding Warren's Licensure.....

It's Elizabeth "I'm for the Little Guy" Warren that is being called into question...
The resulting cacophony??? Cricket's chirping from the Drive By Media...
Now imagine, if you will....this was Scott Brown.....the screams would be blood curtailing!

The Massachusetts Republican Party today filed a complaint with the Supreme Judicial Court regarding partisan statements made by Michael Frederickson the General Counsel for the Board of Bar Overseers. Frederickson made comments which have blunted criticism of Warren practicing without a law license. Comments he never should have made. here is the press release from the MassGOP.
