Residents Alerted to Obamas’ Hawaiian Holiday Plans .....

I do not begrudge any President and his family a vacation...but these people put a whole new spin on it. I'm still trying to pay off the last vacation we took 3 years ago.....so easy to do in this wonderful (!?) economy....

Adding to the controversy surrounding the President's visit is the cost of the trip.

With the staff, special forces, local police presence and equipment, the President's visit adds up annually to at least a $4 million vacation courtesy of the Hawaii and federal taxpayers.

At a fundraiser today in New York, First Lady Michelle Obama expressed confidence in her husband's chances for reelection. "On Nov. 7 we're going to party hard," she said. Election Day this year is November 6.

"We know that many parents are already making changes at home to help the whole family eat healthier," the USDA blogged on Monday. "We recommend reviewing school menus with kids at home and working to incorporate foods that are being served at school into family meals as much as possible."

I am all for healthy eating. However...I also have a friend who cooks for the School Dept. 
She said she has never seen so much waste in her life. 
Between the entitled kids on free lunch tossing what they don't want and kids just not touching what is being offered....money is going down the drain.
