The October Surprise and the November Election....

So why didn’t the President wait until he had more good news? What was the hurry on the announcement? We might note that the October 29, 2010, announcement came just four days before the 2010 midterm elections. And the President’s announcement was soon followed by five “readouts” of Obama conversations with the foreign leaders whose countries helped unravel the plot. In other words, the Obama administration worked overtime to push its counter-terrorism news to the forefront, just just before the elections.

The feisty feminist was at the Barack Obama fundraiser at the Nokia Theater in L.A. Sunday, and on her way out she told our photog she had a moment with the Prez.

Gloria says the big O "indicated that he was very aware of the work I did," and then said to people around them, "She's one of the best attorneys in our country."

As I write this, Barack Obama's gal-pal Gloria Allred and the Boston Globe have aligned themselves with the Chicago Machine in a partisan crusade to launch an October Surprise against Mitt Romney. That we all know. What you might not know is that Allred's client, Maureen Sullivan, the woman pushing to unseal the gag order on her own divorce records, is an embittered leftie, a Huffington Post "Super User," and a vicious anti-Mormon bigot

She met with the President, and just by accident - she's trying to launch the "October Surprise".....is there ANYONE out there fooled by this.....?

DNC delegate and partisan Democrat lawyer Gloria Allred attended the “30 Days to Victory” Obama fundraiser at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on October 7th…featuring George Clooney and musical acts Katy Perry, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Bon Jovi and Earth, Wind & Fire. After the fundraiser, Allred admitted to O’Reilly Factor correspondent Jesse Watters that she “just had a few words with the President” backstage, “he had some very kind words for me,” and “knows of my work…” but would not elaborate more on the details of her conversation. Now, two weeks later Allred is spearheading an “October surprise” targeting Mitt Romney just days before the election.

Romney attorney Robert Jones said he does not anticipate objecting but would like time to review the entire transcript. He asked a judge not to delay the hearing beyond one day.
"We're in a little bit of a spin cycle now," Jones said. "The longer this goes on, the more speculation there will be."

Jones also issued a statement.

"This is a decades-old divorce case in which Mitt Romney provided testimony as to the value of a company," he said. "He has no objection to letting the public see that testimony."

So.....we open a sealed court divorce from yesteryear.....and this is supposed to destroy Romney.....
Yet, the President and his administration fiddled while American's died in Benghazi and it's OK?



Allred is seeking to unseal testimony by Romney in the divorce proceedings of Staples founder Tom Stemberg, a Romney surrogate and founder of a company that marks one of Bain Capital’s most prominent early successes. Stemberg also served as Romney’s campaign manager during the former Massachusetts Governor’s failed run for President in 2008.


However, Stemberg has a skeleton in his closet. His divorce proceedings with his ex-wife, Maureen, were apparently extremely nasty, and Maureen herself is the subject of a documentary that aired on Lifetime. Roz Zurko of the Examiner explains:

Not only was no one excommunicated under Romney, he apparently went out of his way to help one woman who had her baby out of wedlock keep her child – even though having a baby out of wedlock is also grounds for excommunication in the Mormon faith. This woman later described Romney in glowing terms. Unsurprisingly, however, Romney’s detractors have focused on his initial urging of the unwed woman to consider giving the child up for adoption as the relevant part of the story.

Details on the administration's position and on its search for a possible target were provided by three current and one former administration official, as well as an analyst who was approached by the White House for help. All four spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the high-level debates publicly.
