Ann Coulter: Romney was not the problem......

The idea that Romney failed to present a clear contrast with Obama or was too “nice” is also nonsense. If Republicans continue to tell themselves comforting myths about our candidate being the problem, they better get used to losing a lot more elections.

The only Republican to defeat a sitting president in the last century was Ronald Reagan in 1980, when he beat Jimmy Carter, the second-worst president in U.S. history (pending the final results of Obama’s second term). Because of that, and also because he is in the top two best American presidents, Reagan’s example is worth studying.

Mitt Romney: A good man. The right fight........

When much of what passes for a political intelligentsia these days predicted that the selection of Rep. Paul Ryan meant certain death on the third rail of Medicare and Social Security, Mitt Romney brought the fight to the Democrats and made the rational, persuasive case for entitlement reform that conservatives have so desperately needed. The nation listened, thought about it — and on Election Day, Mitt Romney carried seniors by a wide margin. And it’s safe to say that the entitlement discussion will never be the same.

Democrats Are Now Pushing Mitt Romney's Tax Idea....

Now Democrats are saying there is "renewed interest" in a hard cap of as much as $35,000 on deductions, which could allow for significantly higher taxes to come in from rich filers, without officially raising their tax rates. (The President has previously proposed a cap based on the percentage of income tax paid, but that has never gone anywhere in Congress.) The big difference between Romney's cap and the Democrats potential thievery of it, is that he wanted to use it as a trade-off for cut taxes for everyone. The Senate Democrats may just use it as an alternative to raising tax rates.

Media Slammed Mitt's Food Donations, Now Sandy Victims Plead for... Food Donations......

The Old Media spent several days last week attacking Mitt Romney for his October 30 event in Ohio where he presided over supporters coming together to donate money, clothing, and food for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Then the food donations were ridiculed. Yet now ABC News is reporting that victims of the storm are calling for food donations from the public.

Is the Secret Service Ignoring Threats Against Mitt Romney?....

The Secret Service appears to be playing politics by ignoring threats of riots and violence against Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney made by leftist filmmaker Michael Moore and the liberal group MoveOn.

Romney draws crowd estimated around 30,000 in Pennsylvania.....

I couldn’t get an exact figure for the crowd but Romney campaign folks said that 32,800 had registered for the event and that looked plausible. Many were bused in for the event. Romney said the crowd size was proof the late momentum was breaking his way.

4 Ohio Men Arrested After Stolen Romney Signs Found in Union-Owned Truck......

Ohio police arrested four men early Friday on charges of stealing Mitt Romney campaign signs that were found in a union-owned pickup truck, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported.

The signs, some as large as four feet by eight feet, were allegedly stolen from private property and business areas in Wood and Lucas counties in northwest Ohio. They were believed to have been put up by the Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition, the newspaper said. Ohio is a critical swing state in Tuesday’s presidential election.

If You're Not Reading This, Please Don't Vote

"I'm guessing that as soon as I walk into the voting booth, I'll probably make up my mind then." So said undecided voter Kerry Ladka, appearing on Greta Van Susteren's program after the second presidential debate. He had just compared and contrasted the candidates, giving Mitt Romney the edge on the economy, Barack Obama the nod on "social issues," and saying that the choice was, at least then, a 50/50 proposition for him. But while it's clear that he isn't exactly two whiskers from politics-wonk status, he also misunderstands his civic duty.

Going out on a limb: Romney beats Obama, handily.....

Fundamentals usually prevail in American elections. That's bad news for Barack Obama. True, Americans want to think well of their presidents and many think it would be bad if Americans were perceived as rejecting the first black president.

But it's also true that most voters oppose Obama's major policies and consider unsatisfactory the very sluggish economic recovery -- Friday's jobs report showed an unemployment uptick.

Also, both national and target state polls show that independents, voters who don't identify themselves as Democrats or Republicans, break for Romney.

What They Are Saying: 28 Newspapers (And Counting) That Endorsed Obama In 2008 Change Their Minds In 2012......

28 Newspapers (And Counting) That Endorsed Obama In 2008 Change Their Minds In 2012

The Case for Mitt Romney .....

A President Romney would be utterly unburdened by messianic expectations. If he’s elected, the American public will have hired him to do a job, not to save the planet or redeem our politics. Thankfully. We’ve had enough self-styled heroic government to last us a good long time.

Au Revoir, Mr. President.....

Reviewing the last few months of this tumultuous presidential campaign, I see the debates as having a wondrous salience. The first was the most momentous since Nixon vs. Kennedy, though that 1960 confrontation was mostly a matter of cosmetics. Listening to it on radio, many in the audience came away thinking that the participant with the five-o'clock shadow had won. That would have been Richard Nixon.

Romney written in sand on Point Pleasant beach during Obama’s Jersey flyover......

Take that Christie!

Pool report from POTUS trip to NJ: Someone has written "ROMNEY" in large letters in the sand at the north end of Point Pleasant Beach.

Man Arrested For Threatening to Shoot Romney.....

A 19-year-old man was arrested after threatening to shoot Mitt Romney during the presidential candidate’s visit to Ohio, just one of a recent wave of violent threats against Romney that have been downplayed by the media.

'We must rip this fledgling tyranny out before its roots grow strong and indestructible' .....

I have been literally inhaling every bit of history I can devour over the past few years....and the pattern emerging is frightening.
It's not something that "just happened" with the election of Obama. It's the man behind the curtain that's finding it harder to hide. The Progressive Agenda will end this country as we know it.
I'm sure all of us have our beefs with our government - both Federal and Local. I'm sure we have things that drive us nuts about our Country. But when you look out your door, and know that YOU as a citizen control everything....!
Not Congress - YOU vote them in and out -
Not the Senate - YOU vote them in and out....
Not the Presidency - Not a Thing YOU as an individual don't control! It's amazing.
I can get up every morning and write about what I think...me....little Ol' ME. Nobody can stop me.
Even those whose vile drivel permeates our lives....they too are protected. Thank god....
God - there's another one they are trying to make go away. Though I am not religious myself....Religion has a deep meaning in our land. It's free expression and devotion must be protected. The seperation of Church and State started in a LETTER. Not the Constitution...a letter from Thomas Jefferson having an intellectual debate. Something we don't do any longer.....
So yes...I DO believe this IS the Election of a lifetime.
Do I think Mitt is the end all - end all? No...
However, I believe he is a man of deep character and faith. Someone who will return respect to the Office and strength to our nation.....a man who truly understand that unleashing the PRIVATE Sector will make that "Sleeping Giant" rise again.
And if he veers off course...Well, we're out here to steer him back...
We are "We the People"....and we must TAKE our country back!
Let's keep the "Mittmenum" going and VOTE!

Our society has come upon a defining moment: We, the American people, have a choice to make regarding the kind of government we desire.

The shape and role of our federal government has been slowly changing over that last few decades and now we have reached a critical juncture. The implications of our decision could last for generations, changing the course of America and possibly wrecking what took our Founding Fathers a lifetime to painstakingly establish – a Republic that secured liberty and esteemed man’s natural rights above all else – something the world had never witnessed.

This decision point is just days away on November 6th, Election Day.

Ann Coulter: Romney is what the country needs now......

Whenever a service is provided by the government, a whole new set of agendas come into play. The No. 1 purpose of any government agency is to be a jobs program.

That’s why we can’t shut down unnecessary post offices.

That’s why Mayor Giuliani spent his entire second term in court battling “Campaign to Save Our Hospitals” as he tried to sell off rotting, empty public hospitals that were nothing but Democratic patronage dumps.

That’s why the Department of Education still has a program to fund schools at military bases long after those bases have closed and the children have gone.

Another paper tells Obama ‘We are just not that into you’.......

Another paper tells Obama ‘We are just not that into you’; Nashua Telegraph endorses Romney

Does a Big Storm Require Big Government?.....

"We know liberals are worried that President Obama might lose next week, but are they so panicky that they want to suggest even before [Hurricane Sandy] has passed that Mitt Romney and Republicans are against disaster relief? Apparently so. ... [T]he liberals are excavating remarks from one of the early GOP debates. CNN's John King asked if 'the states should take on more' of a role in disaster relief as FEMA was running out of money. Mr. Romney: 'Absolutely.

If Romney wins, Mass. can expect big changes ....

This sounds like ABSOLUTE Heaven to me!

Watch for major changes in Massachusetts government and politics in the event Mitt Romney becomes president.

A Romney win would mean U.S. Sen. John Kerry will not become secretary of state in a second Obama administration, a job he has coveted shamelessly. In addition, Romney surely will target Kerry for defeat if Kerry seeks reelection in 2014.

Kerry, in the last days of the presidential campaign, has not only gone out of his way to attack the former Massachusetts governor but has mocked him as well. Kerry played Romney in the three of President Barack Obama's television practice debates. After the third, Kerry said he needed an "exorcism" to get Romney out of his system. It was supposed to be a joke.

MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Questions the Sincerity of Mitt Romney Collecting Donations for Superstorm Sandy Victims....

And...if The "One" did this - he'd be god-like.....

Yes, with major weather events like Superstorm Sandy, the Red Cross does put an emphasis on monetary donations. That’s probably why, along with tables “piled high with flashlights, batteries, diapers, toothbrushes, mini-deodorants, fleece blankets, cereal, toilet paper and canned goods,” the Romney event also featured two large TV screens encouraging supporters to text “REDCROSS” to 90999 and “make a $10 donation.”
