AND...above all - very Pro Choice.

How can I reconcile? 

It's my body, it's my choice. However, it is not a choice I take lightly.

I have seen many folks treat abortion as a form of birth control...and that sickens me...

However, if one can see fit to need it in one's life...than so be it. It's between them and their god.

I will always fight to keep Roe vrs. Wade alive and kicking...

For me, my friends and for my granddaughters....

No politician is going to rule that aspect of our lives...so get the HELL out of our bedrooms!

I thought Paul was eloquent as to his feelings on this issue. If you listened...they were between his family and their god.

I may not always agree, however I respect someone willing to stand by their convictions - on either side.

Paul Ryan, whose pro-life views, according to Matthews are akin to Sharia law that is practiced and advocated by radical Islamists. He also sounded the alarms that the Republican ticket may want to “operate [the United States] under a religious theory.” After exposing the theocratic conspiracy of the Republicans and the Sharia enemies within – Matthews came off as utterly unhinged.

There on Al Jazeera (now posted in three parts on YouTube here, here, and here) sits one Musa Ismail Obama, the Kenyan cousin of the President of the United States, calmly telling the interviewer in fluent Arabic (English translation gracing the screen) that Barack Obama's "Granny Sarah" is using the Obama name to raise money to fund Sharia educations.

You read that right.

Now, if Muslims want to believe that Mohammed is The Prophet, God bless them. Fine and dandy. If anyone wants to believe that, good luck to him or her. But why does our mainstream media here in the USA, an overwhelmingly Christian country, refer to Islam's prophet as "The Prophet"?

I mean, we have taken the Ten Commandments out of the town square. Maybe woman have become sluts and their fathers "pimps," maybe people shouldn't love who they wish to love, then we have no need for the ACLU, or even the psycho-babble of nuanced thinking.

A spritiual void has been created in America. We can't say, "Merry Christmas" - it offends some. No prayer in school - it offends some. Take the crucifix off the military headstones - it offends some. Do not mention God - it offends some!

 In an apparent case of red, white and blue revenge, a Pakistani protester died yesterday after inhaling smoke from a burning American flag during an anti-US rally.

Abdullah Ismail succumbed at Mayo Hospital in Lahore a day after attending the fierce protest at the city’s Mall Road, where an estimated 10,000 people rallied.

Witnesses said Ismail had complained of feeling ill after breathing fumes from burning flags, Pakistan’s Express Tribune reported.

Egyptian cleric Abd Al-Rahman recently went on Al-Nas television to explain that men are “instructed” to beat their wives under Islam as a last resort before divorce, partly to show her that she is beneath her husband.

“A good woman, even if beaten by her husband, puts her hand in his and says: ‘I will not rest until you are pleased with me.’ This is how the Prophet Muhammad taught his women to be,” Al-Rahman said on the television in a segment aired in August, according to a translation provided by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).
