Free Speech: Either We Have it, or We Don't......
Any Westerner who has read the Koran would certainly agree with Houellebecq -- the Koran is indeed incoherent. Its meanderings seem to evince that Mohammed was psychotic; but respect for literary criticism did not stop French Islamic groups from suing Houellebecq. Neither did French courts act rationally and dismiss the Islamic complaint as prima facie worthless. Houellebecq had to go to court. Even though he prevailed, the fact that adjudication was even necessary speaks to the present evisceration of free speech in the Western world.

Lawsuit threat cancels Christmas concert ....
A threatened lawsuit had put a halt to what's become a Christmas tradition for members of the Moanalua High School orchestra.
For the past six years, the award-winning group and volunteers from the New Hope Church have raised more than $200,000 for a charity that treats poor people in Africa.
But that all came to a halt on Monday when the Department of Education decided to cancel the concert just four days before the event.
In a letter to the Department of Education, Mitch Kahle, founder of the Hawaii Citizens for the Separation of State and Church, took issue with the involvement of New Hope Church, which handles ticket sales and sells those tickets at its services.
U.S. now 'totally unified' in opposition of U.N. Internet governance.....
Finally they do something right!!!!
In a historical moment of unanimous agreement -- an eye-opening 397-0 vote -- the U.S. House of Representatives voted today to approve a resolution pushing the U.S. government to fight the United Nations in its bid to control and change the Internet at the WCIT-12 summit, currently under way in Dubai.

One complaint prompts removal of RMV's Christmas decorations ........
ENOUGH! When are WE going to start pushing back????? WHEN???
The Registry of Motor Vehicles in Braintree took down their Christmas decorations after one customer complained.
A customer at the RMV felt it was insensitive or offensive to single out one holiday by displaying a few Christmas decorations in the lobby.
The decorations hadn't been up for long when the complaint came in this week.
A spokesperson for the RMV tells FOX 25 there wasn't much on display. The small tree, some wall decorations and a Santa Clause were enough to make one person upset and that is apparently all it took to get the decor taken down.

Preview of Univision’s “bombshell” report on Fast & Furious.....
The Obama administration clearly hoped that the Department of Justice’s Inspector General report on Operation Fast and Furious would be the last word on the scandal. which has been tied to hundreds of deaths in Mexico and the murders of two American law-enforcement officials. However, a new report from Univision to be broadcast tomorrow, previewed here by ABC News, may put the issue back on the front pages. One source called Univision’s findings the “holy grail” that Congressional investigators have been seeking:

SEIU Protesters Admit to Being Paid $11 an Hour to Protest Mitt Romney Event.......
YOUR HARD EARNED Union dues at work for ya........ Remember...just like the Government....without people paying taxes...without people paying dues...they have NO power....WE THE PEOPLE do.....
SEIU protesters outside a Mitt Romney campaign event in Ohio on Wednesday admitted on camera that they were paid $11 an hour to picket.
The video, posted to YouTube on Wednesday, showed protesters carrying a variety of signs including “SEIU for Obama 2012.” Some wore T-shirts in the labor union’s signature purple.
“We rode down here today,“ one man with an ”SEIU for Obama” sign said on camera. “They’re paying $11 an hour.”

Twitter hands over protester's private data ....
I know the world has tipped upside-down when I agree with the ACLU.....
An ACLU spokesman told The Huffington Post UK last week: "It is becoming increasingly clear that law enforcement around the U.S. is aggressively issuing subpoenas and obtaining court orders to obtain information about people’s internet activities and communications. We don’t know exactly how often, because the vast majority of these requests are never made public, and many are kept secret by court order. But we do know that it is occurring a lot."

Speaking American as a second language ......
Do you recall what prompted Fleischer to make this comment? He was not talking about “comedian” Bill Maher’s disgusting assertion that it was wrong to call the 9/11 hijackers cowards, because they were gutsy enough to get on airplanes with box cutters and die in their assault on America, whereas our political and military establishment was cravenly lobbing cruise missiles at its enemies. That was brought up later in the interview with Fleischer, and he said that if press reports of Maher’s comments were accurate, it was “a terrible thing to say.”

Obama's Disdain for Democracy and Free Expression.....
Ironically, one of the most brazen examples of the President's propensity to ignore the wishes of the electorate occurred just recently at the Democratic National Convention. I refer, of course, to the infamous floor vote that resulted in the reinsertion of the words "God" and "Jerusalem" in the Democratic-party platform.

White House Sets Ground Rules for Local Interviews .......
Obama Monday threw the White House press corps a bone by suddenly appearing in the briefing room for 22 minutes and taking questions from a total of four reporters. It was his first press conference at the White House – albeit in miniature – since March, and only his second of the year. Obama before Monday had taken exactly one substantive question from White House reporters since June.

There is no honest case against Voter ID ....
The defenders of vote fraud are growing desperate, as common-sense voter ID requirements appear in state after state, surviving legal challenges that took Indiana’s law all the way to the Supreme Court, where it was upheld 6-3. There is no honest case against voter ID laws. Every argument deployed by opponents is as fraudulent as the votes that put Al Franken in the Senate.

Gazillions -- that's the number of times our government has spied on Americans since 9/11.....
Gazillions. That’s the number of times the federal government has spied on Americans since 9/11 through the use of drones, legal search warrants, illegal search warrants, federal agent-written search warrants and just plain government spying. This is according to Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., who, when he asked the government to tell him what it was doing to violate our privacy, was given a classified briefing. The senator -- one of just a few in the U.S. Senate who believes that the Constitution means what it says -- was required by federal law to agree not to reveal what spies and bureaucrats told him during the briefing.
Occupy Unmasked .....
Occupy Unmasked uncovers the answers through exclusive footage of the Occupy movement – footage that will leave your skin crawling and your stomach writhing. This was not a peaceful, hippie movement of the 1960s, with thousands of grassroots turning out for drug-induced love-ins. This was a top-down, insidiously planned movement with a set of very real goals: chaos, political pressure, undermining the existing constitutional order. Occupy was dangerous, and it was purposefully designed to be dangerous.

White House issues embarrassing apology to Charles Krauthammer over Churchill bust gaffe .....
The Obama presidency is fond of issuing apologies for America on the world stage, but very rarely makes them at home to Americans. White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer has just issued one to Washington Post columnist and Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer, who last week wrote an op-ed berating the Obama administration for removing a bust of Sir Winston Churchill from the Oval Office when it came to power. Pfeiffer had issued a stinging attack on Krauthammer, alleging that his Churchill bust reference was “100 percent false.” Krauthammer was of course 100 percent correct, and the British Embassy in Washington even issued a statement contradicting Pfeifer’s remarks.

Day Fourteen and Counting
Day Fourteen and Counting:
Alexandria, VA – For the fourteenth straight day, the three broadcast networks have failed to report on the great and growing ClimateGate scandal on their weekday morning or evening news programs. How to explain this?
Perhaps it is that ABC, NBC and CBS have not yet heard of the story, despite two weeks of non-stop reporting on and discussion of ClimateGate in a whole host of media outlets.
Perhaps the broadcast networks only trust their fellow liberal press outlets, like the New York Times. Perhaps they don’t realize the Times exhibited journalistic diligence on ClimateGate, with a front page story the day the story broke."

The Obama attack on Talk Radio is Real -- Call to Action - HUMAN EVENTS
They are coming at us with Universal Health Care, Cap and Trade - now killing Talk Radio....if they want to be; and love Venezuela SO much -why the hell don't they move down there and LEAVE US ALONE????
The Obama attack on Talk Radio is Real -- Call to Action - HUMAN EVENTS:
There are more strong signals coming from the Obama Administration reflecting an intent to put Talk Radio out of business -- or at least reshape it to censor critical voices and points of view.
When I launched UnFairAir (www.unfairair.org) some weeks ago, we knew that several U.S. Senators had publicly called for a re-instatement of the 'Fairness Doctrine'; we knew that draft FCC regulations mandating 'localism' and 'diversity of ownership' had been circulating since early 2008; we also knew that the Obama transition team had vetted pro-Fairness Doctrine appointees to the FCC."

Has Holder Formed a 'Blog Squad'? | The FOX Nation
They say this isn't true....however, and Administration that can't handle a critical SNL skit.....me thinks where there is smoke - there is fire....
Has Holder Formed a 'Blog Squad'? | The FOX Nation:
Various conservative blogs are talking about the existence of a 'blog squad' at the U.S. Justice Department. The website, the Muffled Oar writes that a blogging unit formed within the Department of Justice to counter websites with posts, articles, and user comments critical of the Obama administration. Matthew Miller Director of Public Affair at the Justice Department told the Washington Times:
'There is no 'blog squad'. There is Tracy [Russo] who handles online media. It’s the policy of the office of public affairs to not post anonymous comments. We have not seen any evidence that anyone does post comments, and if we did have evidence of that, people would no longer work here.'"
