Obama Gets Ayn Rand All Wrong......What a surprise, ey?!....

I can almost one hundred percent guarantee something right here and now. President Obama's only connection to Rand is probably that of a secondhand introduction through some liberal professor who chose to simply judge Rand's vision according to words like "selfishness" and "capitalism." If Obama had actually read and/or understood Rand, then his comments would not be so far off the mark. Let's set the record straight, Randians, because this propaganda is beyond ridiculous. And to see it espoused by the sitting President of the United States is one step away from being down right shameful.

Mitt's take-home-pay message .....

For example, a $70,000 middle-class family whose tax bracket falls from 15 to 12 percent will see a roughly $2,100 increase in take-home pay. That’s not nothing. Mortgage. Tuition. Car payments.

A married couple earning $143,000 whose tax rate under Romney drops from 25 to 20 percent will keep roughly $7,100 more in take-home pay. That’s good money. Or to use Obama’s middle-class benchmark, a married couple earning $220,000 a year whose rate drops from 28 to 22 percent will save over $12,000. That’s a big number.

Paul Ryan, Ayn Rand and the Hypocrisy of the Media .....

Ayn Rand and Atlas Shrugged - should be required reading for every citizen in AMERICA! It's happening already.....

You can learn a lot about people from the company they keep, even if that company is in the form of ghosts on a bookshelf. And yes, when it comes to fiscal policy, Paul Ryan loves Ayn Rand.

The Washington Post published a long, belabored essay last week on what Rand‘s philosophies say about Mitt Ryan’s new running mate (funny, no one seemed quite this curious about Joe Biden’s library). And Dave Weigel at Slate published another, in which he admits that Ryan’s quoted Thomas Aquinas as a much bigger influence on his politics. But who wants to talk about some 13th century theologian — only known as the Church’s greatest philosopher — when Rand is so controversial?
