Social Security and the Politics of Deceit....

Joe Biden's simplistic remark belies a horrific lack of understanding regarding the reality of investing versus the broken promises of Social Security. The erroneous comment by Biden about the market and his disingenuous explanation of what life would have been like had you been able to make your own decisions with Social Security funds underscores the problems our nation faces in understanding the results of the 2012 presidential election.

Ryan returns to House: What next?

Gone are the platitudes that defined Mitt Romney’s campaign. Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Congress will almost certainly have to cut a massive debt and deficit deal with President Barack Obama. And without Ryan’s imprimatur – or at least public approval – any compromise will be a tough sell.

Thank-you Mitt & Paul....

This is exactly how I feel....

I’ll admit it — Mitt wasn’t my guy in the primaries. But when he secured the nomination, I put our few ideological differences aside to join him in supporting the many other things we have in common. As the campaign went on, he grew on me — especially after he plucked Ryan from national obscurity and confronted serious issues lesser men would have never touched (ahem, Barack). He ran a good campaign, a clean campaign. While President Obama disgraced his office with mudslinging class warfare and immature name-calling, Romney kept his eye on the bigger picture: the future of our country.

Paul Ryan Lays Out a Vision for Reforming Welfare, Fighting Poverty....

Tragically, this massive welfare state has been a driver of dependency. Today, 100 million Americans—roughly one-third of the U.S. population—receive aid from a government welfare program (not including Social Security, Medicare, or unemployment insurance).

As Ryan noted, in the 1990s Congress passed the historic welfare reform law, inserting work requirements into the largest federal cash assistance program. This was a huge success.

Libya and Lies .....

It was a little much when President Barack Obama said that he was “offended” by the suggestion that his administration would try to deceive the public about what happened in Benghazi. What has this man not deceived the public about?

Darrell Issa's Daily Hearings Plan....

Just yesterday, Mr. Issa announced that he would issue subpoenas for administration documents relating to a program that pays bonuses to Medicare Advantage plans. Mr. Issa claims that the Obama administration is somehow manipulating this program (which was created by a Republican Congress under President George W. Bush) to mask the costs of health care reform. The Department of Health and Human Services handed over piles of documents on Thursday, as Mr. Issa demanded, but that’s not good enough for him.

Joe Biden Says He Sits With Obama Every Day for ‘Four to Six Hours’ .....

Target rich out there..!...Gaffe Inc. is at it again!

Speaking at a campaign event in Greeley, Colo. on Wednesday, Vice President Joe Biden said he sits with the president every day for four to six hours “on average” — so some days it could be more.

“You all saw the man that I have sat with every day, on average four to six hours a day,” Biden said about Tuesday night’s presidential debate. “A man of principle, a man of gumption, a man with a steady hand and a clear vision.”

Final Proof of Democrat Decline.....

Final Proof of Democrat Decline: The point was probably best illustrated in the debate over Medicare. Ryan discussed Obamacare's Independent Payment Advisory Board, saying:

And they put this new Obamacare board in charge of cutting Medicare each and every year in ways that will lead to denied care for current seniors. The board, by the way, it's 15 people, the President's supposed to appoint them next year. And not one of them even has to have medical training.

Biden said in response:

You know, I heard that death panel argument from Sarah Palin. It seems every Vice Presidential debate I hear this kind of stuff about death panels.

Obama Campaign: Ryan’s the Liar, Not Biden.....

Don’t you love it when the Obama campaign accuses Romney/Ryan of ending Medicare as we know it? That’s the point. Medicare as we know it is headed for bankruptcy. The voucher program actually gives Americans a choice. But then, if you’re the Democrats, you don’t like Americans to have a choice. Unless it’s to murder babies.

Four things Paul Ryan must do to win Thursday's debate .....

Republican vice presidential candidate Paul D. Ryan shouldn’t have a hard time winning Thursday night’s Danville, Ky. debate against incumbent Joe Biden.

This debate will be a chance for a national audience to see Ryan. He’ll be tempted to wade deeply into the topics that are likely to emerge, such as Medicare, Social Security, and the federal budget. Still, given Biden’s tendency toward broad talk, Ryan will do best to present his facts clearly and not dally among the numbers and figures that aren’t likely to reach viewers.

Biden Complains People 'Can Barely Pay To Fill Their Gas Tank' - Back In '08 Debate......

“I was recently at my local gas station and asked a guy named Joey Danco. I said, ‘Joey, how much did it cost to fill your tank?’ You know what his answer was? He said, ‘I don't know, Joe. I never have enough money to do it.’”

At the time (Oct. 2008), the average cost of a gallon of regular was $3.17 – and only $1.93/gallon when Obama took office in January of 2009 – according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Barack Obama, debate moderator wedding guest ......

No favoritism here? Drive By Media....Nah..............

President Barack Obama was a guest at the 1991 wedding of ABC senior foreign correspondent and vice presidential debate moderator Martha Raddatz, The Daily Caller has learned. Obama and groom Julius Genachowski, whom Obama would later tap to head the Federal Communications Commission, were Harvard Law School classmates at the time and members of the Harvard Law Review.

Joe Biden, Opposition Researcher....

No doubt Biden will focus on that passage and others like it, in order to make the “47 percent” remark stick to Ryan in a way that President Barack Obama refused to make it stick to Romney in their debate last week. But as Ryan points out in Young Guns, the difference between the two parties is that Democrats “want to see America hurtle past the point of no return.” That is an insight that has been confirmed, lately, by the Obama campaign’s “Life of Julia,” describing a cradle-to-grave state as its paternalistic ideal.

High Stakes Ryan-Biden Bout Could Seal Deal for Romney.....

Unlike the 2008 debate pitting Biden against then Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Biden won’t have to tread carefully this time to avoid the appearance of attacking a female counterpart. Ryan said he expects Biden to come “flying at us” like a “cannonball” on Thursday. Biden is considered a skilled debater with an everyman charm.

Steve Schmidt, a former top adviser to Sen. John McCain, told Politico he expects Biden to try to seize the offensive, predicting he will “be bringing his proverbial nun chucks and brass knuckles.”

America, Finally Seeing the Real Mitt Romney.....

When I volunteered on his Gubernatorial campaign...he was just like this.... that's why it's a relief the blinding light of the Debates could not be stopped and/or covered up by the Mainstream Media Obama Machine.

The media is trying to figure out how this happened.

How could Mitt Romney be blasting his way to the top of the polls after just one debate?

Would you like a very simple answer? Here it is: The media tried to tell America that Romney was one thing, while the debate showed them he was another. The difference between the two are seen in the poll numbers. It really is that simple.

Paul Ryan Ends Interview After "Strange" Question From Local Reporter.....

They tried to portray Paul as "Walking out" and "Storming out" of the interview. He just calmly ended it when the reporter tried to egg him on with vacuous questions.... seems that's all they have these days....

Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan ended an interview with a reporter from Flint's ABC News affiliate after the correspondent attempted to "stuff words" in his mouth.

Ryan, answering a series of questions about violence, guns and gun control laws, said the best thing to do is "help teach people good discipline and good character."

Local anchor Terry Camp asked Ryan if he could do all of that "by cutting taxes" which led to Ryan's decision to end the interview. Transcript below.

Personally, Paul Ryan is everything Mitt Romney isn't.....

Paul Ryan is sorry you couldn’t get into his event here. He feels badly you had to wait for him to arrive at the county fairgrounds in Virginia. He wants to meet you but he promises he won’t disrupt business by staying too long at your New Hampshire restaurant.

Oh, and please, he says, take a seat.

Ryan, a congressman from Janesville and Mitt Romney’s vice presidential pick, is a model of unassuming, Midwestern courtesy, and that will be on display later this week when Ryan debates Vice President Joe Biden.

Romney's Debate Win Opens Cracks in Obama Firewall......

On the split screen, we saw the same expression of irritation -- as if he smelled something really bad -- as we did when he faced tough questions from Fox News' Bret Baier, when he had to listen to Paul Ryan demolish his health care plan at the Blair House summit, when he was probed on his broken immigration promise by interviewers on Univision.

What we didn't see is the Obama who is supposedly fascinated by the details of public policy. Sans teleprompter, he repeated the talking points of his television ads and, when Romney responded sharply, he had nothing to fall back on.

We saw the president who found it fitting to jet off to campaign in Las Vegas the day after the first murder of a U.S. ambassador in 33 years.

Chris Matthews Freaks Out At Obama: "What Was He Doing?" ....

Don't think Comrade Chris was happy! I believe Mitt Romney understands he has to EARN the election...not be anointed as the "Chosen One"....

"Tonight wasn't an MSNBC debate tonight, was it?" Chris Matthews said after the first Obama-Romney presidential debate concluded on Wednesday night.

"I don't know what he was doing out there. He had his head down, he was enduring the debate rather than fighting it. Romney, on the other hand, came in with a campaign. He had a plan, he was going to dominate the time, he was going to be aggressive, he was going to push the moderator around, which he did effectively, he was going to relish the evening, enjoying it," Matthews said.

Medicare Fact vs. Fiction...

LISTEN to Mitt and especially Paul Ryan!

Medicare now exists in name only. Over the past decade it has morphed into a bloated, bankrupt system that has fooled seniors into thinking that the money they put into the system would be spent on their healthcare needs. In fact, the money that has been put into the Medicare trust fund has been steadily raided by Congress to use for everything except the health of seniors.
