Ryan Plan Would Save Medicare; Obamacare Will Destroy It ....
It's time we started acting like adults...and the grown-ups our Founding Father's handed the care and protection of our Constitution to!
I think most of us want to hear the truth. I believe most of us KNOW the truth.
It's time.....AND...take YOUR time and read what Ryan has to say. Do not listen to the scare tactics and sound bites. Invest some time in your future...your kids, grand-kids.....all of us. Take the time to find out for real... The Obama campaign has wasted no time trying to scare the elderly with lies that Mitt Romney’s selection of Representative Paul D. Ryan as his running mate signifies Romney’s plan to destroy Medicare. Obama senior campaign advisor David Axelrod claimed on ABC’s “This Week,” for example, that Medicare would be in “a death spiral under this plan.”

America's 1st Freedom....
The truth is there are many factors driving the sales figures, and sales are up everywhere, even in “blue states.” The top reason hasn’t been President Obama, but rather the movement for freedom spearheaded by the National Rifle Association and its robust membership.
To make this clear, let’s go through the statistics and details to see the big picture the media would rather not address.

This Chart Showing Welfare Dependency Will Ruin Your Day ....
Are you serious? Over 110,000,000* in the U.S. are currently receiving some form of government welfare?
“The federal government administers nearly 80 different overlapping federal means-tested welfare programs. Social Security and Medicare are not part of this category and not included in the figures in this chart,” a statement released on Wednesday by Sen. Sessions’ office reads.

No, Romney Won't Raise Your Taxes $2,000....
But here is the actual truth: Mitt Romney is not asking the middle class or anyone else to pay more taxes. Mitt Romney is proposing to cut tax rates for everyone, across the board. That would finally liberate the economy for a long overdue recovery. Increased revenues from that booming economic growth, combined with savings from cutting Obama's runaway spending and closing loopholes that mostly benefit the highest income taxpayers, would enable a U-turn, from the four straight highest deficits in world history to a balanced budget in 5 years.

Gotye Parody Mocks ‘Obama That I Used to Know’ ....
Pretty damn funny....
If you listen to pop radio at all — or even if you pay attention to the music that plays in the grocery store — you know that the group Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” is one of the hottest songs in the country right now. The catchy tune and eccentric music video are burning up the airwaves and the Internet. And now some 2008 Obama supporters have capitalized off of it with a scathing, yet hilarious, parody of the song that blasts the president.

Pillow Tag Requirment Stifles Kerri Smith, Inventor of The BellyRest....
“The annual average for law tag registration fees is 183.33 for the existing 15 states that require law tags. If 35 more states required manufacturers to pay an average amount for a registration fee, it would be $6416.35, annually. Add that to the current fees and a manufacturer would be required to pay $9166.55 annually to be allowed to sell a pillow in the US,” Kerri said.
“That’s insane. That would absolutely put small manufactures right out of business. And imagine what will happen to the price of the pillow you sleep on at night. No more $5 pillows at Target,” she adds.

Glenn Beck: Cash for Clunkers update
Glenn Beck - Current Events & Politics - Glenn Beck: Cash for Clunkers update:
GLENN: There's a couple of stories that I want to give you, first of all, the CARS system, the cars.gov, this is a website where you can find out all about cash for clunkers, and we're going to give you more on this tonight. But I'm sick and tired of these bloggers who will deny the facts on what's going on. We broke a story on Friday that if anyone in the media were doing their job, they would be after this story. They would be going on this story and saying, 'What is the deal' on this. But they are leaving it up to us on Fox News and the blogs."

Citizen Informants
And where are all those people who howled about the Patriot Act - Dick Cheney - alleged wiretaps on TERRORISTS - etc....etc....NOW???
American Thinker: Citizen Informants:
In 1930's Germany, the new socialist government of Adolf Hitler (NAZI National Socialist Workers' Party) began indoctrinating children in the quasi-military organization, the Hitler Youth, to inform on their parents should they overhear discussions subversive to the policies of the Leader. As the noose was tightened, local community organizers were appointed to watch their neighbors and were told to report subversive comments to the bureaucrats above them. Neighbors informed on neighbors, some for reasons of patriotism or loyalty, some from fear. A modern inquisition ensued; a terror to free thought and expression. Increasingly harsh penalties were meted out to those who dared to dissent."
Today: The government of the United States is openly asking citizens to report rumors, the contents of casual conversation, and the contents of emails. They decry the fact that they are unable to "keep track" of the communication between citizens effectively and are asking for help from informers. Of course forwarded emails would contain the electronic addresses of the sender.

Michelle Obama part of alleged 'patient dumping' scheme in Chicago
Michelle Obama part of alleged 'patient dumping' scheme in Chicago:
Just minutes after President Obama’s disastrous prime-time press conference touting his “health care” plan, FOX News host Sean Hannity aired a special segment about a so-called “patient-dumping” scandal in Obama’s hometown, Chicago.
And the scandal may very well involve First Lady Michelle Obama herself."

Betting Blind on ACES by Jonathan H. Adler on National Review Online
Betting Blind on ACES by Jonathan H. Adler on National Review Online:
Last Friday, the House of Representatives narrowly passed a massive climate-change bill that few, if any, members of Congress had actually read. The legislation would impose the first-ever limits on emissions of carbon dioxide and impose a raft of other regulatory measures, while simultaneously ensuring that key constituencies are protected from climate policy’s pinch. The bill is one step closer to becoming law, and yet most of our elected representatives could not tell you much of what it contains."

The 4th of July: Independence Forever
The 4th of July- Independence Forever:
The Fourth of July is a great opportunity to renew our dedication to the principles of liberty and equality enshrined in the Declaration of Independence, a document that serves as the birth certificate of America.
The ringing phrases of the Declaration of Independence speak to all who strive for liberty and seek to vindicate the principles of self-government. When asked to prepare a statement on the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, John Adams delivered two words that still convey our great hope every Fourth of July: 'Independence Forever.' The Declaration of Independence publicly announced to the world the unanimous decision of the American colonies to declare themselves free and independent states, absolved from any allegiance to Great Britain. But its greater meaning is a statement of the conditions of legitimate political authority and the proper ends of government."

Moving the Stimulus Goalposts - The Note
Moving the Stimulus Goalposts - The Note:
With public confidence in the stimulus package showing signs of ebbing, the Obama administration is continuing to sell its impact with nation-wide events and press appearances.
Today brings this explanation, from Christina Romer, the chairman of the president’s Council on Economic Advisers: Stimulus spending, Romer told the Financial Times, is “going to ramp up strongly through the summer and the fall.”"

Retreat into Apathy by Mark Steyn
Retreat into Apathy by Mark Steyn on National Review Online:
Willie Whitelaw, a genial old buffer who served as Margaret Thatcher’s deputy for many years, once accused the Labour party of going around Britain stirring up apathy. Viscount Whitelaw’s apparent paradox is, in fact, a shrewd political insight, and all the sharper for being accidental. Big government depends, in large part, on going around the country stirring up apathy — creating the sense that problems are so big, so complex, so intractable that even attempting to think about them for yourself gives you such a splitting headache it’s easier to shrug and accept as given the proposition that only government can deal with them."

Let's Keep Many Eyes on the Banks - WSJ.com
"The nation is about to make two momentous policy choices about the future of our financial system. One will be made by the president, the other by the Supreme Court. Both decisions involve the proper roles for state and federal regulatory authority, and both have far-reaching consequences. Yet the country seems barely aware of the issues, or the stakes involved."
Let's Keep Many Eyes on the Banks - WSJ.com: "We have much to lose by any well-intentioned but perilous experiment in extreme centralization. If such an experiment does not live up to expectations, there would be no simple way for states to restore their authority and the balance of power. Authority once relinquished is seldom regained.
As Thomas Jefferson so aptly warned in a letter to George Washington in 1791, for the federal government to overstep the boundaries of the states is 'to take possession of a boundless field of power, no longer susceptible to any definition.'"

Secession: the Ultimate States' Right
Congressman Ron Paul - Secession: the Ultimate States' Right - Texas Straight Talk
Last week the governor of Texas ignited a media firestorm for his remarks involving the idea of secession. He did not call for Texas to secede from the United States. He merely pointed out that the federal government was treading heavily on the sovereignty of the states and that this can not continue indefinitely without a breaking point.. Secession is the last resort of states whose sovereignty is over-ridden by an overreaching federal government. The federal government has only itself to blame for this talk...Without the right to secede, state’s rights are meaningless.
A republican form of government should also be as close to the people as possible, which means the decisions of local governing bodies must be respected. Where the decisions of local governments are disregarded, the voice of the people is also disregarded. The more that happens, the more frustrated and angry the people will become.

Audit the Federal Reserve (HR 1207) | Ron Paul .com: "Ron Paul’s bill to audit the Federal Reserve (HR 1207) now has 186 co-sponsors, and the numbers keep growing!
This is history in the making, and victory is within reach. Imagine what will happen if HR 1207, The Federal Reserve Transparency Act, comes up for vote in Congress! With more than 40% of the House of Representatives already co-sponsoring this bill, it has real potential to pass — BUT only if we educate and rally the people to support it and get our Congresspeople to put it to vote and pass it."

South Carolina governor trumped, must take stimulus money - CNN.com
South Carolina governor trumped, must take stimulus money - CNN.com: "South Carolina's Supreme Court ruled Thursday that Gov. Mark Sanford must accept $700 million in federal stimulus money, ending the only formal effort by a governor to reject funding intended to jump-start an ailing economy.
Gov. Mark Sanford became the conservative face of opposition to the federal stimulus package.
The two-term Republican said he would abide by the court ruling, but called it a bad day for South Carolina and the country.
'This decision is terrible news for every taxpayer in South Carolina, and even more so for future taxpayers who will ultimately bear the responsibility of paying for this so-called 'stimulus' without seeing any benefit from it,' he said in a statement."
