A church caught at the center of a controversy regarding a school trip to see their production of “Merry Christmas Charlie Brown” has decided to cancel the show.

The Registry of Motor Vehicles in Braintree took down their Christmas decorations after one customer complained.

A customer at the RMV felt it was insensitive or offensive to single out one holiday by displaying a few Christmas decorations in the lobby.

The decorations hadn't been up for long when the complaint came in this week.

A spokesperson for the RMV tells FOX 25 there wasn't much on display. The small tree, some wall decorations and a Santa Clause were enough to make one person upset and that is apparently all it took to get the decor taken down.

I would argue that your rationalizations speak to how numb we are in this society to gun violence and murder. We’ve come to accept our insanity. With that as a backdrop, I was asked this week if Patriots have an obligation to arm themselves -- to be gun owners, and be proficient at the use of arms. I thought at first the question was rhetorical, but after some consideration, I realize that there are millions of grassroots Patriots who are NOT among the 60 million plus Patriots who are already law-abiding gun owners.

Apparently, the question needs to be addressed, as the answer may not be as obvious to some folks as it should be.
