USATODAY.com
Guess these must be those "CREATED" jobs....the hypocrisy and abuse of power by our so called "leaders" is breathtaking!
USATODAY.com:
The number of federal workers earning six-figure salaries has exploded during the recession, according to a USA TODAY analysis of federal salary data.
Federal employees making salaries of $100,000 or more jumped from 14% to 19% of civil servants during the recession's first 18 months — and that's before overtime pay and bonuses are counted.
Federal workers are enjoying an extraordinary boom time — in pay and hiring — during a recession that has cost 7.3 million jobs in the private sector."

Dems to lift debt ceiling by $1.8 trillion, fear 2010 backlash - - POLITICO.com
Good Lord....and they think we are soooooooooooooooo stupid we won't remember this in the 2010 election cycle....the great stupid un-washed.....
Dems to lift debt ceiling by $1.8 trillion, fear 2010 backlash - - POLITICO.com:
In a bold but risky year-end strategy, Democrats are preparing to raise the federal debt ceiling by as much as $1.8 trillion before New Year’s rather than have to face the issue again prior to the 2010 elections.
“We’ve incurred this debt. We have to pay our bills,” House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer told POLITICO Wednesday. And the Maryland Democrat confirmed that the anticipated increase could be as high as $1.8 trillion — nearly twice what had been assumed in last spring’s budget resolution for the 2010 fiscal year."

Climategate: Gore falsifies the record | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog
Again, this is like a standing headline these days..."Gore falsifies Record"...??? Just asking....
Climategate: Gore falsifies the record | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog:
Al Gore has studied the Climategate emails with his typically rigorous eye and dismissed them as mere piffle:
Q: How damaging to your argument was the disclosure of e-mails from the Climate Research Unit at East Anglia University?
A: To paraphrase Shakespeare, it’s sound and fury signifying nothing. I haven’t read all the e-mails, but the most recent one is more than 10 years old. These private exchanges between these scientists do not in any way cause any question about the scientific consensus."

Why are they surprised....he is, after all..."The Chosen One"....
Nobel peace prize: Norwegians incensed over Barack Obama's snubs | World news | guardian.co.uk:
Barack Obama's trip to Oslo to pick up his Nobel peace award is in danger of being overshadowed by a row over the cancellation of a series of events normally attended by the prizewinner.
Norwegians are incensed over what they view as his shabby response to the prize by cutting short his visit."

Martha Coakley: Too Immoral for Teddy Kennedy’s Seat - HUMAN EVENTS
Amen....finally the Massachusetts republican ticket has a gentleman on it whom we can feel good about. A decent hard working realist to stand against the tsunami of intellectual insanity spewing from the fountainhead we call Capital Hill. Remember this on election day.....vote Scott Brown - period...dot. It has to begin with us....
Martha Coakley: Too Immoral for Teddy Kennedy’s Seat - HUMAN EVENTS:
In Tuesday's primary election, Massachusetts Democrats chose as their Senate nominee a woman who kept a clearly innocent man in prison in order to advance her political career.
Martha Coakley isn't even fit for the late Teddy Kennedy's old seat. (What is it about this particular Senate seat?)
During the daycare/child molestation hysteria of the '80s, Gerald Amirault, his mother, Violet, and sister, Cheryl, were accused of raping children at the family's preschool in Malden, Mass., in what came to be known as the second-most notorious witch trial in Massachusetts history."

FOXNews.com - Administration Warns of 'Command-and-Control' Regulation Over Emissions
They have NO IDEA what they are doing! The economy is better? REALLY...well, come out here to the fruited plains and tell us that. Now total blackmail. Either pass the gawd-awful job killing fraud "Cap and Trade" or we'll do something more economy destroying - job killing.....and YOU WANT THESE PEOPLE CONTROLLING HEALTH CARE TOO!!!!!!!
FOXNews.com - Administration Warns of 'Command-and-Control' Regulation Over Emissions:
The Obama administration is warning Congress that if it doesn't move to regulate greenhouse gases, the Environmental Protection Agency will take a 'command-and-control' role over the process in way that could hurt business."

Pajamas Media New Evidence of Saddam-Terrorism Links:
The rationale for pushing forward in Afghanistan is that it is the “right” war, the “war of necessity,” the true base of the terrorists that attacked us on 9/11 and would try to attack us again. Essentially, those opposing the war in Iraq while supporting the war in Afghanistan try to frame the latter conflict as justified in every way the former is not. As the war in Iraq ever so slowly comes to a close and the history books begin being written, new evidence has emerged to challenge the narrative that the war in Iraq was something different than the war on terror."

TheCypressTimes : SLEEPER CELLS AWAKENED, AMERICA TAKEN:
In all my life I have never seen such fear and concern for the future of America as I do now. I have thought long and hard back into my childhood, wondering if there was something I have overlooked. Was there a time when Americans were truly afraid of losing their constitutional freedoms and rights? Was there a time when Americans feared their own government so much that they began building safe houses within their homes, food storage rooms, and making plans for the worst possible scenario?"

American Thinker: Stop prosecuting our American heroes
We are attacking and pulling the rug out from under our CIA Agents, we don't support our military the way they should be - ( instead utilizing them as photo op's and props ) - now we are prosecuting them for giving a MURDERING TERRORIST a fat lip? If we, the American public - don't rise up in horror over this travesty of justice, we have NOBODY but ourselves to blame the next time a bomb goes off somewhere in the Fruited Plain...we'll have NOBODY but ourselves to blame!
American Thinker: Stop prosecuting our American heroes:
In what must be one of the most outrageous criminal prosecutions in American history, the U.S. military is dragging three Navy SEALs into court to face criminal charges. Their crime: punching a terrorist in the mouth and giving him a bloody lip."

I NEVER in my life thought I'd say thank god for hackers....but whomever did this brought Christmas to the world early this year....
American Thinker: Revenge of the Computer Nerds:
It is fascinating to watch the mainstream media in America duck (and/or make excuses for) the greatest scam in modern history: the 'science' behind man made global warming. Even more entertaining, and far more enlightening, is to follow the analyses by the experts in computer programming of the recently disclosed methods used by the Climate Research Unit (CRU) from the University of East Anglia."

Reid doubles down on slavery analogy - The Hill's Blog Briefing Room
Can you stand back and IMAGINE if a Republican said this? Can YOU IMAGINE!? There would be torches and pitchforks outside their Office!!!
Reid doubles down on slavery analogy - The Hill's Blog Briefing Room:
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Tuesday defended his remarks from Monday comparing congressional Republican opposition to healthcare to the 19th-century debate over slavery, accusing his GOP critics of 'distorting' his intent.
'At pivotal points in American history, the tactics of distortion and delay have certainly been present,' Reid said. 'They've certainly been used to stop progress. That's what we're talking about here. That's what's happening here. It's very clear. That's the point I made — no more, no less. Anyone who willingly distorts my comments is only proving my point.'"

Glenn: If you look at what happened yesterday, the stories that broke yesterday with the EPA, the EPA now saying that they're going to regulate CO2, Congress coming out, John Kerry -- do we have any of the statements, Pat?
Pat: Yeah. I have John Kerry's statement. He said -- we don't have the audio. It's just a release."

American Thinker: Donald Kennedy and the Corruption of Science Magazine:
Science magazine has been stewing so long in the global warming bouillabaisse that its very brains are beginning to smoke. That may be because its august editor-in-chief Donald Kennedy (until last year) was a dedicated warm-monger. Science is the flagship journal of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the political lobby for Big Science in Washington, D.C. The editor-in-chief of Science is like the Queen of England: It's the closest thing to God in the church hierarchy. Everybody kisses your butt, and all you have to do is wave your hand to the cheering peasantry from your golden coach."

American Thinker: The Cuckoo's Nest Visits Copenhagen:
One of my all-time favorite novels is Ken Kesey's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, later made into an Oscar-winning film. Set in an institution for psychological patients, Cuckoo's Nest is a cautionary tale about all institutions -- schools, churches, businesses, government bureaucracies, etc. It dramatizes the horrors of what can happen when those in charge hijack an institution and place their own ambitions and lust for power, prestige, and control above the welfare of the very people whom the institution was created to help."

American Thinker: Climate Treaty Reparations would cost $50-$200bn per year:
Here's a quiz. What's the worst thing on the table at the UN Climate Control Conference in Copenhagen December 7-18? If you guessed cap-and-tax, you would be wrong. The reparations could be much, much worse.
The draft of the treaty encompasses 181 pages and recites that it shall be the obligation of the developed countries (Europe, United States, Japan, Australia, etc.) to pay the developing countries (China, India, Africa, etc.) huge reparations, annual sums to erase poverty and to share technology with them. Australian lawyer Janet Albrechtsen explains the most recent draft of the treaty:"

American Thinker: Democrats' war on home business
American Thinker: Democrats' war on home business:
The House of Representatives on December 3rd passed House Resolution 4154, which is deceptively called the 'Permanent Estate Tax Relief Act.' This bill is part of the general war by the Democratic Party on self-employed Americans, family farms, and home businesses. Does this sound extreme? Consider the vote on the message: 225 Democrats in the House voted for HR 4154 and 26 Democrats voted against it; not a single Republican voted for HR 4154."
