General Motors extended-range electric Chevrolet Volt had its worst sales month since August, as negative publicity over fire risks hurt vehicles sales in January.
GM sold just 603 Volts - above its sales in January 2011, but far below GM's best-ever sales month in December, when GM sold 1,529 Volts.
Last week, GM North America President Mark Reuss said sales of the Volt have been hurt by bad publicity.

AA to Cut Up to 15,000 Jobs....No more Freindly Skies.....

NBC 5 has learned that Fort Worth-based American Airlines may cut between 10,000 and 15,000 jobs across the company.
Sources familiar with the plan said they company plans to announce the cuts during a meeting Wednesday morning in Fort Worth.
It is estimated that 1,000 of those jobs to be cut will be at the company's maintenance base at Alliance Airport in north Fort Worth.

He also claimed he never saw hate-speech protest signs directed at former President George W. Bush — only at President Obama.
“There is a real level of national hatred of the president [Obama] that I hadn’t seen before, certainly not under Clinton, or under Dubya,” Matthews said. “The hatred, the Hitler mustaches — I hadn’t seen that before.”

Growing up in NY...with parents that were Season Ticket Holders...I had no choice but to cheer YA Tittle til we moved to Massachusetts and we found Sports Heaven with the Patriots, Bruins, Celtics and Red Sox. I meant every word I said. And while it's not my style to make predictions, I have to assume I threw some sort of reference in there to “Therefore the Giants would be the perfect team to finish a perfect season against” or something along those lines.

At the same time, U.S. home prices fell 1.3% in November from October and were 3.7% below 2010 levels, the Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller home price index indicates.
