Did Kerry's Swift Boat Hatchet Man Fake His Own Silver Star?
This is a fascinating read....
Last August, Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus revoked a Silver Star medal formerly held by retired Navy Captain Wade R. Sanders. In a short, vague memorandum to the Chief of Naval Personnel, Mabus cited "subsequently determined facts and evidence surrounding both the incident for which the award was made and the processing of the award itself" as the reason. Such an action by the Navy is virtually without precedent.

Sarah Palin-Says what we are all thinking AGAIN!
Say it, Rick...we AGREE with you! Let er' rip!
Many on the left and some on the right (most notably Karl Rove) have criticized Rick Perry for calling Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke’s monetary policy “treasonous.” But not everyone disagrees with the Texas governor. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is one example.
On the Fox News Channel’s “America Live” Thursday, Palin applauded Perry and chided President Obama for ignoring the American economy.
“More power to Rick Perry for calling it like he saw it,” Palin said.

Britain’s Criminal Utopia
Coming to the USA if we don't watch our Gun Rights!
If you want to see what a disarmed society looks like, look no further than England.
Thousands of angry, drunk, violent thugs running wild and stealing anything they can carry. Shopkeepers and homeowners crippled with fear, unable to defend their loved ones or their property. Innocent citizens forced to watch helplessly while their life’s dreams — everything they worked so hard to build and acquire — are carried out the door, or smashed to pieces, or burned to the ground.
Men, women and children forced to strip naked in the streets, while packs of criminals laugh and ridicule them before making off with their clothing.
The fact is, when British politicians stripped their citizens of their God-given right to self-defense, they robbed them of their freedom and their dignity.

The swagger and love of country! Rick Perry
I don't know if he's "The One"...but DAMN! Isn't it nice to see love of country expressed without hesitation or regret????
Rick Perry - the swaggering, back-slapping Texan - grew somber as he spoke amid the carnival din.
"Friday, Iowa's going to bury one of your own, one of those young Navy SEALs who was killed in Afghanistan," he said, pausing as his voice cracked.
"I want you to think about T.J. Tumilson and the sacrifices that are still being made today so a guy like me can stand up on a soapbox at the Iowa State Fair and talk freely about freedom and liberty and America and that we are an exceptional country and we're going to stay an exceptional country."
Then, Perry pointed his left index finger skyward, raised his voice and declared: "We don't need anybody apologizing anywhere in this world about America!"

Obama to deport illegals by 'priority'
Here comes amnesty!
Bowing to pressure from immigrant rights activists, the Obama administration said Thursday that it will halt deportation proceedings on a case-by-case basis against illegal immigrants who meet certain criteria, such as attending school, having family in the military or having primary responsible for other family members’ care.

First Responders Not Allowed to Attend 9/11 Memorial Service
I swear NYC has been taken over by Aliens.....
Bonnie Giebfried was a first responder during the September 11 attacks almost 10 years ago. On that day, she was twice entombed in sheared building fragments, and escaped twice. She transported people to safety and set up makeshift triage stations. She watched bodies hit the ground and suffered three asthma attacks.
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg‘s decision to not allow first responders to attend this year’s memorial ceremony at Ground Zero is a fresh wound for Giebfried.

Watching Mouths - Rick Perry and a thin skinned Administration...
Rick Perry’s biggest problem to getting the Republican nomination and winning a general election is Rick Perry. He is going to have to overcome attacks both from Karl Rove acolytes helping Mitt Romney and also from Democrats painting him as the second coming of George W. Bush. He will have to appeal to swing, independent voters, women, and people who are still a bit tired of the last Christian/military pilot/Texas Governor.
But all the people saying Rick Perry’s comments on Ben Bernanke hurt him have some serious Beltway-itis.

Where Is the Outrage At Captain Bull Malarkey and His Bus Tour?
August is such a vacuum in Washington. I would like to think the GOP might seize on it to focus on two things for which I do not think there is sufficient outrage.
The first is Barack Obama’s bus tour. It is a campaign trip. The administration is doing little to hide it and a passive press corps is even describing it as a bus tour while minimizing the fact that American taxpayers are footing the bill in its entirety.
When George W. Bush took his own bus tour, he did so with campaign funds. Barack Obama is expecting you, me, and everyone else to fund his re-election campaign. At a time when 17% of the country is either unemployed or underemployed, it is appalling that the President would use our money to fund his re-election and that re-election message would be that we need to give him even more of our money.

Liberals Aren't Funny, They're a Riot!
Like you, I've been horrified by the eruptions of mob violence around the globe this summer. But having spent the last two years researching and writing a book about mobs, I'm also grateful to the ruffians for taking to the streets so soon after my book was released.
Thanks, you dirty animals. I knew you wouldn't let me down.
When I decided to write about mobs, it was a relatively peaceful period. But as long as there is evil in the world, mobs will never be finally defeated. And as long as there are liberals, there will be some people stoking the mobs.
It was only a matter of time, although even I didn't expect it quite this soon.

Obama’s Tour Bus: the Spaceballs Helmet of the New Century?
I'm not the only person who sees the Death Star............
Because nothing says “Let’s tour American and talk about jobs!” than a big black, hearse-mobile of doom. A giant hearse wherein lies the American economy.
In fact, play the below while you look at the photo above. Imagine if the American public sprang for some Peavys affixed to the top that would blast this as it rolled through the cornfields:

ObamaCare: Where’s the Investigation of Epic Systems?
It just keeps getting better and better.............
The Washington Examiner’s Lachlan Markay broke news this week about the appointment of a major liberal donor, Judith Faulkner, CEO of Epic Systems Corporation, to the Health & Human Services Health Information Technology Policy Committee. Markay reports that Judy Faulkner was appointed to a stimulus-created board that is charged with disbursing billions of taxpayer dollars for health information technology adoption despite her opposition to the administration’s interoperability goals, which require that health records be shareable across platforms.
Faulkner and her company oppose the president’s vision for health IT, but Epic employees are massive Democratic donors. They’ve given nearly $300,000 to Democrats since 2006, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

After Failing with Recalls, Big Labor Spams State Employees
Despite failing to win a Democratic Majority in the Wisocnsin State Senate, the pulbic employee unions are continuing their rhetorical battle, including in the email boxes of state employees. Clearly unions are in panic mode now that their hope at winning legislative control here at the ballot box has been dashed.
Dungeons and Red Dragons: The Second Cold War
The United States sits inside its own self-made dungeon arguably tied to iron shackles with little sight of freedom forecasted. Our nation is in shambles economically, militarily, and politically. Many nation states have been sitting quietly watching our crippling country falter and one of those nations is the evil red dragon– China.
Run Ryan, Run - PLEASE DO!!!!!!!!
Staffers of Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) are denying recent reports that the Congressman is seriously considering running for president. Leaks, rumors, and speculation abound. On Tuesday, Stephen F. Hayes at The Weekly Standard reported that Ryan "has been quietly meeting with political strategists to discuss a bid" and is currently discussing a prospective candidacy with his family while vacationing in Colorado.
Joe Wilson "You Lie"! Surprise! He was right!
We knew he was right back then..............
“You lie!” Republican Rep. Joe Wilson famously shouted at President Obama during a 2009 televised presidential address to a joint session of Congress.
The outburst, prompted by Obama pledging his health care reform bill would not benefit illegal immigrants, provoked outrage from liberals, not to mention a steely death-glare from then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
But now Wilson says time has proved him right.

Five Myths About Rick Perry
Gov. Rick Perry of Texas is now the frontrunner for the Republican nomination. Many people are aware of his focus on the Tenth Amendment, his state’s tremendous record of job creation (40% of all jobs created since the beginning of the recession have been in Texas), and his formidable campaigning abilities. But as with all other Republican candidates, there are rumors swirling about his positions and history that are worth examining. Let’s take them, point by point.
Texas Job Growth & Clueless Krugman
Brainiac of the Left, New York Times’ Paul Krugman, searches frantically with an Aug. 14 column to prove “The Texas Unmiracle” in job creation. His obvious reason for devoting his column to jobs is because Texas Governor Rick Perry has announced he is running for president—a strong, conservative, frightening opponent for Campaigner-in Chief Barack Obama.
But, in attempting to prove that Texas job success “offers no useful lessons on how to restore national full employment,” Krugman trips over the Texas economic facts. He even reluctantly gives credit where it is due.

Obama’s Unemployment Fix: A Department of Jobs?
The Obama administration has a big idea to bolster employment: a Department of Jobs. This isn’t a South Park episode satirizing the White House but an actual idea floated by an administration official in the New York Times. The irony of a “Department of Jobs” is clearly lost on the hapless president.
President Barack Obama has had difficulty creating jobs. But he is a master at creating new government bureaus, commissions, and agencies. He seems oblivious to the causal connection between the latter and the former.

Seattle’s Green Jobs Scam – 20 million creates 14 jobs
But more than a year later, Seattle’s numbers are lackluster. As of last week, only three homes had been retrofitted and just 14 new jobs have emerged from the program. Many of the jobs are administrative, and not the entry-level pathways once dreamed of for low-income workers. Some people wonder if the original goals are now achievable."
Forget Corporate Jets. Government Limousines Show They’re Stealing You Blind
President Obama has made a big deal out of corporate jets. Apparently they are a symbol not of success but of greed. Yet even as the private jet marked has lagged with the ongoing recession, President Obama’s own employees in his administration have significantly increased the number of limousines available for their travel."

It's a VIP H3-45 model, the company's top of the line, and is used by major traveling rock bands.

Obama: I have it harder than Abe Lincoln - PLEASE..............
Is he done whining? Because it isn't very becoming.
President Barack Obama said yesterday in Decorah, Iowa, that he absorbs more political criticism than Abraham Lincoln, the assassinated 16th U.S. president, attracted from his Civil War critics.
The comment came during a question-and-answer session where one invited audience member asked Obama how he deals with his congressional critics in the GOP. “The Congress doesn’t seem to be a good partner. You said so yourself, they’re more interested in seeing you lose than [seeing] the country win,” the questioner lamented."

And how, with this behavior....do guys like this and various Verizon jerks not just become the very embodiment of the caricature of a Union Thug? They certainly aren't helping thier cause.

Radical overhaul of military retirement eyed
This is one pension that needs to be dealt with carefully...VERY. It differs greatly from Teachers etc.....we also don't want to lose the best and the brightest....
The military retirement system has long been considered untouchable - along with Social Security and Medicare. But in these days of soaring deficits, it seems everything is a potential target for budget cutters. A Pentagon-sponsored study says military pensions are no longer untouchable - they're unaffordable.
CBS News investigative correspondent Sharyl Attkisson reports high-level, closely-held meetings are taking place at the Pentagon regarding a radical proposal to overhaul retirement for the nation's 1.4 million service members - a bedrock guarantee of military service."

Gov. Christie: People Want A President Who Will Lead, Take Risks
Amen to this!
"New Jersey Gov. Christie answers a question: 'The important skill Terry really that they're talking about I think in that [New York Times] column and what people are hungering for in the country is someone in the White House who will lead and take risk. You know, I mean, things have gone--- what was your phrase? --- a modicum of success, I might be a little more enthusiastic than that but we've had some real success here and I think that one of the reasons we've had real success is because leaders have been willing to lead. Right? So if that means if you're me, you take a chance and you put a pension and benefit reform proposal out there that you know are going to anger a lot of people but that you believe in your heart is the right thing to do for the majority of people in the state, while also protecting the pensions of even those people who are angry about the proposal ---- and that's leading."

Krauthammer: Obama's Actions On The Economy Are "Pathetic"
'This is one of the great events in American history. He hasn't had this issue of debt on the table for two and a half years, especially since December when the budget, his deficit reduction commission reported, he's done absolutely nothing on this. And even today, after the gyrations in the market and after the downgrade and after the whole debate in the country of how we're going over a cliff on debt, all of a sudden he says, 'Well, we're going to wait until September.' If he has an idea, how about giving it?"

Getting a little touchy - aren't we????
BARACK OBAMA, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: You know, Mr. Perry just got into the presidential race. I think that everybody who runs for president, it probably takes them a little bit of time before they start realizing that this isn't like running for governor or running for senator or running for Congress, and you've got to be a little more careful about what you say.
But I'll cut him some slack. He's only been at it for a few days now."

Perry's Problematic Pals
Texas Governor Rick Perry announced Saturday that he is going to seek the Republican nomination for President, and in his speech declaring his candidacy, he sounded great: 'we reject this President's unbridled fixation on taking more money out of the wallets and pocketbooks of American families and employers and giving it to a central government,' Perry said. ''Spreading the wealth' punishes success while setting America on course to greater dependency on government. Washington's insatiable desire to spend our children's inheritance on failed 'stimulus' plans and other misguided economic theories have given us record debt and left us with far too many unemployed.'"
Bearing No Faith or Allegiance to the Constitution
Before taking a seat in Congress, all elected senators and representatives must swear an oath of office. In summary, they are required to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, bearing full faith and allegiance to our nation's foundational law. Their oath confirms their willingness to bear these duties freely and without reservation. It seems the vow was changed when the people weren't looking."

Now, a mere six years later, in her newly released 'Europe, Globalization, and the Coming Universal Caliphate,' Bat Ye'or updates her analysis to demonstrate how Western Europe's ongoing, morally grotesque Eurabian metamorphosis is actively advancing -- via the United Nations, in particular -- Islam's eternal quest for earthly domination under the Sharia, i.e., a global Caliphate.

Benefits Cuts cause Riots - Greg Gutfeld
The conclusion: governments fear austerity programs for this reaon.
Meaning, riots. Bloodshed. looting. And so on.
Which is a sad and scary point: what protects bloated government and entitlement is a visceral fear that if you take candy from a baby, that baby will hang you in the square.
I suppose that’s one reason to avoid cutting programs, if you’re a coward.
Bottom line: you cannot be held hostage by fear of unrest. You must always do the right thing, no matter the risk. For in a free country, the expectation should be for civility at all costs.
What guarantees that civility? Punishment? Fear of death?
Maybe."

Internal E-Mail Reveals Striking Union’s Tactics Against Verizon
Within days after the strike began, an e-mail surfaced allegedly sent by Jon Remington, Unit 44 President of CWA Local 13000 (which covers much of Pennsylvania). In the e-mail, Remington shares the union strategy of bending the interpretation of an injunction, picketing Verizon Wireless stores to keep customers out and decrease company profits, as well as jamming Verizon’s repair lines."
GOP Candidates Must Declare Opposition to Sharia
Texas Gov. Rick Perry has set many a heart a-flutter by joining the hunt for the Republican presidential nomination, but not so fast: Hard-Left advocacy journalist Justin Elliott of Salon hailed Perry as the “pro-Sharia candidate,” and exulted that Perry “is a friend of the the Aga Khan, the religious leader of the Ismailis, a sect of Shia Islam that claims a reported 15 to 20 million adherents worldwide. Sprouting from that friendship are at least two cooperation agreements between the state of Texas and Ismaili institutions, including a far-reaching program to educate Texas schoolchildren about Islam.”"
Loss of gun rights in the UK and the resulting mayhem
A leading Second Amendment scholar spoke to Guns & Patriots Aug. 13, four days after returning from United Kingdom about the loss of gun rights and the early August riots there.
“The Labour Party immediately jumped on it and blamed the austerity budget cuts on the Conservative Party,” said Prof. Joyce Lee Malcolm, who teaches courses on common law and Constitution, specifically the Second Amendment at Fairfax, Va.-based George Mason Law School. “But, they pulled that back because it became quickly obvious that it was sheer hooliganism.”"

President Perry?
So, to the surprise of exactly no one, he's in. A single question remains, concerning Rick Perry, governor of Texas. If he wins the Republican presidential nomination, as well he may, can he be counted on to send Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Tim Geithner to the unemployment lines (pending their recruitment by the lobby or the universities)? Will America accord him that chance?
Er. Maybe. Quite possibly. I don't know, and I don't speak abstractly concerning the finite nature of human knowledge."

Obama and the Perry Miracle
Liberals have let it be known that they intend to 'kill' Romney -- or any other GOP candidate who poses a threat to Obama in the 2012 election. The attack on Romney at the Iowa state fair by hecklers pretending to be ordinary retirees is prelude to what we can expect. Obama's own team are hard at work as well. Recently, they've been trying to head off the challenge posed by Gov. Rick Perry, the most successful American governor in living memory."

Let me hasten to make it clear before the Secret Service kicks the door in: we're not speaking of the three-dimensional, physical Obama, but the image of Obama created by the DNC, the media, and assorted political mercenaries to sell him and his agenda to an unsuspecting nation. We need to rid ourselves of Obama as an influence, as an example, as a lens through which to view the world, as a figure to look up to, admire, or emulate in any sense."
$2.2 million for Secret Service's new armored buses - Alot of cash - but I'd rather our President SAFE at all times.
The Secret Service has revealed to Talking Points Memo that the government has purchased two armored buses for use by President Barack Obama and Republican candidates in the 2012 presidential campaign and beyond.
The agency initially declined to tell TPM whom the buses were bought from, but based on some searches of federal databases it looked to me like the seller was Hemphill Brothers Coach Co. of Whites Creek, Tenn. Last July, the Service signed a contract for nearly $2.2 million with the firm, according to a federal procurement database. (The entry doesn't specify the number of buses.)"

Pat Buchanan Challenges Warren Buffett: 'Set an Example and Send a Check for $5 Billion to the Federal Government'
The liberal media are predictably fawning over billionaire Warren Buffett's op-ed in the New York Times Monday calling for new taxes on the super-rich.
This led MSNBC's Pat Buchanan on Monday's 'Morning Joe' to challenge the Oracle of Omaha asking, 'Why doesn’t he set an example and send a check for $5 billion to the federal government?'"

George Will Slights Bachmann’s Fitness to ‘Control' Nukes--Just as He Slighted Palin's
Washington Post columnist George Will, who has never commanded anything with greater throw-weight than a word processor, suggested on ABC’s “This Week” this morning that President Barack Obama would have an easier time in the general election defeating Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann than Texas Gov. Rick Perry because the “threshold question in any presidential race” is “[s]hould this person have control of nuclear weapons.”"
Eleventh Circuit Decision A Devastating Blow to Obamacare
Obamacare has suffered a devastating blow. On Friday, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the individual mandate in President Barack Obama’s signature health care legislation is unconstitutional. With its ruling, the court affirmed the principle that the Constitution means what it says—Congress does not have unfettered power to force the American people to comply with any and all dictates it creates.
The federal government’s argument in favor of Obamacare’s individual mandate, in contrast, is without limit—and it’s a position that the court strongly rejected:"

If cell phones existed back in the Founding Fathers' time, they would have been included in the Second Amendment
Many scholars believe the intent of the Second Amendment is to provide citizens with the right to protect themselves against an unjust government, citing The Crown of the time as justification. An entirely different scholarly faction, recognizing that there wasn’t much of a standing American army back in colonial times, contends that the Second Amendment existed so that citizens would always have weapons when called on to protect the State."
Obama Steps on Fallen Heroes' Dead Bodies for Personal Gain
Obama's actions say it all......
Last week, Obama continued that pattern by first telling the press and families of the 30 U.S. Special Operations troops who died in a Chinook transport helicopter trying to rescue their comrades that, when he visited Dover to be present as their caskets come home, he would not allow the press in ... and then by reversing himself without telling the families so that the press could take a picture of him in a solemn salute 'honoring' the troops. A picture that was immediately distributed nationwide. The opportunity for the opportunist was just too delicious to turn down.
Does this sicken you? Me too. Can anyone imagine a tearful President George W. Bush swindling fallen troops' grief-stricken families like this? Or any other American president? Me neither."

Funeral Pyres for the British Welfare State
The Iron Lady’s tough response to the rioters was applauded by the public and gave her the mandate to carry out her agenda of fiscal conservatism. She implemented economic policies that led to the sale or closure of state-owned companies, deregulation of British industry and the financial sectors, flexibility in labor markets, and withdrawal of state subsidies. After a rough start, British GDP rose twice as fast as government spending for the first time since the 1920s. Thatcher demanded balanced budgets and refused to be suckered into adopting the euro currency. When Thatcher retired in 1990, the U.K. was considered a growth engine of Europe."
Reid expects Tea Party to fade away
Homie don't think so...............
Reid blamed everything that ails Washington and the nation on Republicans. He slammed the GOP for its refusal to go along with tax increases as part of this month's debt-ceiling deal, saying hard-core fiscal conservatives are making it impossible to strike a long-term deal that slows the growth of the national debt."

Matt Damon: Erudite, Brilliant, Thick!!!
What prompted this bizarre outburst from Moore? Damon’s comments in Boston about the evil rich. “The wealthy are paying less than they paid at any time else, certainly in my lifetime, and probably in the last century,” Damon told a reporter. “I don’t know what we were paying in the roaring ‘20s; it’s criminal that so little is asked of people who are getting so much. I don’t mind paying more.” This, of course, doesn’t stop Damon from gambling away his cash in illegal back-room poker games. If he wants to redistribute wealth, he should start at home.
But let’s take Moore at his word and apprise the estimable Damon as a candidate. After all, he’s been holding himself up that way for years."
