Records: Prof profited by buying, selling homes....
Today's Hypocrisy Howler...so many are liars......
Elizabeth Warren, who has railed against predatory banks and heartless foreclosures, took part in about a dozen Oklahoma real estate deals that netted her and her family hefty profits through maneuvers such as “flipping” properties, records show.
A Herald review has found that the Democratic U.S. Senate candidate rapidly bought and sold homes herself, loaned money at high interest rates to relatives and purchased foreclosed properties at bargain prices.

Video of Cooper’s Priceless Reaction When He Hears Mom Say His Name for the First Time.....
Just a few days ago, we brought you the touching video of a young girl who was fitted with an Esteem implant that allowed her to hear the little things she couldn’t before. Now, another video has emerged showing what is reportedly a 2-year-old boy being fitted with a similar implant who hears his mother’s voice for the first time.

Feds to Florida: halt non-citizen voter purge....
OK...they are trying to do what's RIGHT.
Prevent non-citizen's.....yes, I'll say it...ILLEGAL ALIENS from voting in OUR elections...and they get stopped by the DOJ....OUR DOJ...
Those harbingers of truth and justice...
Just ask those involved in Fast & Furious....THIS is ridiculous.
If ANYONE is being discriminated against on a regular basis it's the law abiding citizens of the US.
They must have adopted Martha Coakley's ( Ma. DA ) mantra..."it's not illegal to be illegal in Massachusetts"....
Florida’s effort appears to violate both the 1965 Voting Rights Act, which protects minorities, and the 1993 National Voter Registration Act – which governs voter purges – T. Christian Herren Jr., the Justice Department’s lead civil rights lawyer, wrote in a detailed two-page letter sent late Thursday night.

Worried About The Soda Ban? Fear Not, Bloomberg to Support ‘National Donut Day’ ....
At Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s press conference touting his efforts to stop the sale of large soft drinks in restaurants, one reporter in attendance brought up the interesting fact that his administration also supporting “National Donut Day” tomorrow and inquired as to whether that muddled the mayor’s message on the issue.
George W. Bush’s Advice To Obama: ‘Ask, What Would George Do?’ ....
“When the British burned the White House … in 1814, Dolley Madison famously saved this portrait of the first George W. Now, Michelle, if anything happens there’s your man,” Mr. Bush said. “I am also pleased, Mr. President, that when you are wandering these halls as you wrestle with tough decisions, you will now be able to gaze at this portrait and ask, what would George do?”
Axelrod's Anti-Romney Message Gets Drowned Out .......
Instead, he was booed, heckled and chanted down by supporters of Mr. Romney who refused to let up even for a moment as Mr. Axelrod and Democratic state lawmakers sought to make their case. The group included several staff members in his Boston headquarters, including an aide’s dog wearing a Romney T-shirt.
Blamer in Chief? | The Weekly Standard
This man is utterly classless!
"The months before I took the oath of office were a chaotic time," Obama said, after explaining that the president's job is isolating, and that he and Bush have a connection since so few have held the job. "We knew our economy was in trouble, our fellow Americans were in pain, but we wouldn't know until later just how breathtaking the financial crisis had been."

The Best College in America .....well said...........
If you're a liberal, you would probably insist, depending on which one you attended, that Harvard, Yale, Stanford or UC Berkeley, was the finest college or university in the country. If you went to Harvard, you would probably say, in the world.
If you were a conservative, you would probably vote for Hillsdale.
But I contend that far and away, the best one doesn't have a campus, an endowment fund or even a football team. In fact, it's the one that people tend to ignore except once every four years. I'm referring to the Electoral College.
As a rule, the only time people even talk about it, they're complaining that it should be abolished. But, as is nearly always the case, they happen to be wrong and the Founding Fathers were right.

Narcissism and Tyranny -- The Consequence of Executive Egocentrism......
Video: Allen West Protestor Drops F-Bomb to WWII Vet
Congressman West is seen in the beginning of the clip, the meeting apparently over. Off camera some noisy lefties are making themselves known, and West smilingly calls them his "groupies." One liberal woman is upset, and proceeds to take on several World War II vets, and an older woman who may be the wife of one. The older woman is carrying a cane. An exhange is heard...it appears at one point that the liberal woman refers to "Nazis," although whether she is accusing one of the veterans is unclear -- although he certainly looks startled at what she says. Finally -- at 1:16 into the video -- the much younger woman jabs one of the vets and says.."Hey...F...you." There's more.
JFK and the Death of Liberalism
In short, one wonders. Did the bullets that killed JFK hit another target -- liberalism itself? Unlike JFK, not killing liberalism instantly but inflicting something else infinitely more damaging than sudden death? Or, as Tyrrell puts it, inflicting "a slow, but steady decline of which the Liberals have been steadfastly oblivious."
A Serial Bomber in Phoenix .....
A small improvised explosive device (IED) detonated at a Salvation Army distribution center in Phoenix, Ariz., on the afternoon of May 24. Two Salvation Army employees discovered the explosive device, which was concealed inside a yellow, hand-held 6-volt flashlight, as they were sorting through a box of donated items. The IED exploded when one of the employees picked up the flashlight and attempted to turn it on. The blast was not very powerful, and the two employees suffered only minor injuries.
Odd politics, presidential tradition: Bush is back .....
Haven't checked my Twitter feed yet....need more coffee for that - however I expect the Hate Mongers are already ranting about W being at the WH for a day.....
It was just one week ago that Obama, revving up campaign donors, turned Bush into a punch line. Obama depicted Republican rival Mitt Romney as a peddler of bad economic ideas, helping the rich at the expense of the middle class, and then added to laughs: "That was tried, remember? The last guy did all this."
Now the last guy is coming back.

Apple wants U.S. manufacturing, but it ain't that easy ...
My point is not to illustrate the benefits and drawbacks of unions, or even what’s fair; rather, I’m trying to illustrate a landscape in which American companies can go overseas for greater flexibility, lower price and sheer speed. So long as there are nations in this world willing to do work others aren’t, outsourcing will exist. In the capitalist system, businesses can’t win in the free market unless they exploit every advantage.
Barack Obama has insulted 38 million Poles with his crass and ignorant 'Polish death camp' remark ........
Poles and Polish-Americans expressed outrage today at President Obama’s reference earlier to “a Polish death camp” — as opposed to a Nazi death camp in German-occupied Poland.
“The White House will apologize for this outrageous error,” Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski tweeted. Sikorski said that Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk “will make a statement in the morning. It’s a pity that this important ceremony was upstaged by ignorance and incompetence.”

Texas Woman Accuses Zetas Drug Cartel of Kidnapping Her Husband Armando Morfin From Their Texas Home....
Border problem? What border problem???....
Still, why police decided not to reveal that the kidnappers may have been members of the Zetas cartel is still a mystery.
Meanwhile, the drug cartel continues to haunt the Morfin family.
Fearing that the Zetas would come back for her and her family, Marina Morfin and her children left Texas. Now almost two months later the wife and mother is still pleading with her husband’s captors to release him so he can be reunited with his family.

Obama's politics of envy....
Obama ducks calls to release his collegiate transcripts....
When President Obama gave the commencement address last week at the Air Force Academy, he congratulated the cadets for excelling at one of the most demanding schools in the country.
But decades after Mr. Obama completed his own college course work, his academic performance is still a mystery. Before and after his election as president, Mr. Obama has refused to release his college transcripts from his days as an undergraduate and a law school student.

SWAT rampage destroys Iraq vet's home over guns....
While Army Sgt. Matthew Corrigan was sound asleep inside his Northwest D.C. home, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) was preparing to launch a full-scale invasion of his home. SWAT and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) teams spent four hours readying the assault on the English basement apartment in the middle of the snowstorm of the century.
Iraq vet brutalized over guns in D.C. .....
Army 1st Sergeant Matthew Corrigan was woken in the middle of the night, forced out of his home, arrested, had his home ransacked, had his guns seized and was thrown in jail -- where he was lost in the prison system for two weeks -- all because the District refuses to recognize the meaning of the Second Amendment. This week, the city dropped all charges against Sgt. Corrigan, but the damage done to this reservist cannot be so easily erased.

Dewey files for Chapter 11 in record law firm collapse....
Dewey said in a filing it had decided to wind down its business following unsuccessful negotiations with other law firms to strike a deal. It said it would ask about 90 employees to remain on staff to assist in the liquidation, which it expects to be completed in the next few months.
Negative economic conditions, along with the firm's partnership compensation arrangements, created a situation where its cash flow was insufficient to cover capital expenses and full compensation expectations, Dewey said.

Farrakhan Says America Used ‘Trickery’ to Take Mexican Land ....
Alot of which we actually paid for even though we won it fair and square....ever look at boundaries in Europe? Change damn near daily...just ask the Soviet Union....
The poorly-timed rant took place in San Diego in front of a partially Hispanic audience. The oft controversial minister began by disparaging “White Mexicans” of Spanish decent before announcing that “Africans were in that part of the World [Mexico] maybe before [Mexicans] got there.” The minister lamented that illegal Mexicans are called “aliens” and declared that Americans “ought to be praising the Mexicans because we living on land that was once theirs.”

Escape From New York? High-Taxing Empire State Loses 3.4 Million Residents in 10 Years....
Once again, it shows how the "static" assumptions by the Left are imaginary!
Where are they escaping to? The Tax Foundation found that more than 600,000 New York residents moved to Florida over the decade – opting perhaps for the Sunshine State’s more lenient tax system – taking nearly $20 billion in adjusted growth income with them.

Pictures of America's Medicare Mess.....
President Lyndon Johnson signed Medicare into law in 1965, creating a program that today provides health insurance to some 48 million Americans. Now, though, that program is in desperate need of reform as the United States grapples with retiring baby boomers entering the system, increasing health care costs and a status quo that simply can't be sustained.

Chris Hayes: I'm 'Uncomfortable' Calling Fallen Military 'Heroes' ....
Well....Thankfully....most American's are not afraid to call our military HEROES!
Effete: affected, overrefined, and ineffectual; see "Chris Hayes." OK, I appended the name of the MSNBC host to the dictionary definition. But if ever you wanted to see the human embodiment of the adjective in action, have a look at the video from his MSNBC show this morning of the too-refined-by-half Hayes explaining why he is "uncomfortable" in calling America's fallen military members "heroes."
Hayes is worried that doing so is "rhetorically proximate" to justifications for more war. Oh, the rhetorical proximity! View the video after the jump.
