Elizabeth Warren...is "One of Us'........Okkie Dokie....

And good for her....even though I wonder about some of this. Regardless....GOOD FOR HER - BUT...Stop trying to tell us you are "One of Us"...you got off that bus a LONG time ago....

Is Massachusetts Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren part of the “1 percent”? The multimillionaire claimed on Thursday night’s “The Last Word” on MSNBC that she’s not, but her financial disclosure forms say otherwise.

WHite House Tax Deliquents.......Hypocricy - thy name is Obama....

Ah...but imagine the Hell on Earth life would be for us "Little People".....?

The White House’s 36 tax-delinquents put President Barack Obama’s personal office in the top tier of IRS deadbeats.

The White House’s 36 tax deadbeats owe an average of $23,165.33, far above the average federal delinquent’s outstanding debt of $13,911.

RomneyCare and ObamaCare....

Those of us who thought that Mitt Romney's health-care record would hurt him during the GOP primaries have been wrong so far, in part because the former Massachusetts governor has been so insistent that he'll "repeal ObamaCare." But this week his vulnerability came into sharper focus, and while it may not cost him the nomination it could cost him in November.

Sixteen Concerned Scientists: No Need to Panic About Global Warming.....

A candidate for public office in any contemporary democracy may have to consider what, if anything, to do about "global warming." Candidates should understand that the oft-repeated claim that nearly all scientists demand that something dramatic be done to stop global warming is not true. In fact, a large and growing number of distinguished scientists and engineers do not agree that drastic actions on global warming are needed.

Strassel: Mitt Keeps Missing the Message....

It won't be because Mr. Romney has become a better or more effective candidate. Primaries exist to help with that process, to let contenders read signals from the political landscape, to adapt, become stronger. Successful politicians absorb the signals and change up. Not Mr. Romney. If politics were evolution, the governor would still be swimming in the primordial soup.

Apple: made in China, untaxed profits kept offshore .....

Just a few hours later, in the GOP response to the President’s speech, Governor Mitch Daniels also played the Steve Jobs card, saying “The late Steve Jobs — what a fitting name he had — created more of them than all those stimulus dollars the President borrowed and blew.”

Partisanship aside, certainly Apple has created a lot of jobs over the years. But today, most of the jobs created by Apple are not American jobs, they’re sweatshop-style jobs for miserable, overworked workers in China.

Obama is King of Private Sector like Al invented internet!

Obama “wants to take credit for anything that happens in the private sector because he wants the public to look favorably on government,” responded Dan Kish, a senior vice president for policy at the Institute for Energy Research. His gas-fracking claim “is sort of like Al Gore [claiming credit for] inventing the Internet,” he said.

If Hockey Star Snubbed Bush, They Would’ve Earned ‘Unwavering Support in the Media for Taking Such a Courageous Stance’ .....

Amen.........

Politically conservative Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas is being vilified for not joining his hockey teammates Monday afternoon at the White House for a ceremony honoring the team’s 2011 Stanley Cup championship, but Hockey News senior writer Ken Campbell suggested that if a few years ago some stars “had snubbed the White House in 2004 to protest the Bush-led U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003, my guess is they...would have had all kinds of unwavering support in the media for taking such a courageous stance.”

Michigan Union Manual Instructs Teachers on How to Use Children as ‘Propaganda’ ....

Jeez...Golly...Gee! Unions using school children as "Propaganda"...who woulda thunk, ey?????

“For more than two years, the Michigan Education Association [MEA] has had a manual that urges its members to use students as propaganda in contract negotiations and also lays out how to organize strikes,” writes Tome Gantert of Michigan Capitol Confidential.

Considering the fact that teacher strikes are illegal in Michigan, some may find it odd that the MEA has been encouraging this sort of behavior

Henry Waxman and Ed Whitefield Spar Over Koch Brother Subpoena Question on Keystone Pipeline....

Fair is Fair....nice to see one of OURS call out Waxman!

A House committee held what was perhaps one of its more explosive hearings Wednesday on a bill that would give a federal commission the power to approve the Keystone XL pipeline. Democrats, lead by Congressman Henry Waxman, call the bill a Republican earmark and thus asked that the Koch brothers be subpoenaed to testify on their alleged investment in the project. Republican Committee chairman Ed Whitefield was having none of it, however, and cut Waxman off at the knees.

Bush Responsible for Bailouts and ‘GM is Number One’ |.........Really?.....No..........

Once again....because he hasn't got the strength of his own convictions...if he even has any....it's Bush's Fault".....

President Obama on Wednesday said that President Bush was responsible for bailing out auto companies in Detroit, writes the Washington Examiner’s Charlie Spiering.

“Keep in mind,” the president said, “That the administration before us, they had been writing some checks to the auto industry asking nothing in return. It was just a bailout, straight — straightforward.”

Billy Cundiff’s missed field goal finds a home with a Pats fan ......

Sometimes Football rules!

Like everyone else at Gillette Stadium, Dr. Terry Oder figured Sunday’s game was headed for overtime. Sitting in the ninth row in the end zone, Oder and his friends had a sick feeling. What were the chances Baltimore kicker Billy Cundiff would botch a 32-yard field goal attempt?

Pretty good, it turns out.

School Choice-SChools don't need more funding....

He asks why these solutions cannot happen....? Look no further than the Teachers Union....it's the same thing everywhere their could be volunteerism to solve financial woes....Unions will not allow it 99% of the time.

Cosby demanded answers from Education Secretary Arne Duncan, asking why, with so much money going into the schools, the taxpayers still cannot get the value they put in. Instead of whining about cuts, he said, schools and towns should be looking for solutions outside the box.

“Okay — we know there are cuts, then let’s work with it. Let’s go to churches, find retired teachers who would like to join us in the basement of the church to work with the child,” Cosby said. “There are ways we can work around this and we have to talk and we have to move.”

Obama’s Green Robber Barons.....Fleecing us daily!

Had enough of fat cat Barack Obama, his jet-setting wife and his multi-millionaire Chicago consigliere/real-estate mogul Valerie Jarrett attacking the “rich”? Well, brace yourselves. You’ll be hearing much more from the White House about the “wealthy few” who aren’t paying their “fair share” as Obama’s re-election campaign doubles down on class-war demagoguery.

As usual, there’s always a set of immunity charms for the privileged friends and family of the ruling class. When it comes to all the Green Robber Barons who’ve reaped an obscenely unfair share of billions of tax dollars from the Obama administration, the envy trumpeteers will be quieter than a nest of mute church mice.

Ohio State Students Mobilize Against Freedom Center Ad ......

And parents get to pay kabillions in tuition costs for making their kids liberal shills....or worse.....

Controversy is brewing at Ohio State University after The Lantern, the campus’s official student-run newspaper, published the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s ad exposing the Muslim Student Association’s extensive links to terrorism. The advertisement, titled “Former Leaders Of The Muslim Student Association (MSA), Where Are They Now?,” lists nine MSA co-founders and former presidents that have documented ties to terrorist groups. These individuals rose to high leadership positions within organizations such as Al Qaeda and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, with some serving prison time for their roles in terrorist operations. The list includes such terrorists of international notoriety as the recently dispatched Anwar al-Awlaki (former MSA president at Colorado State University)

RE-ELECT OBAMA: VOTE NEWT!

Well said.....and I am NOT a big fan of Mitt...But Newt????

To talk with Gingrich supporters is to enter a world where words have no meaning. They denounce Mitt Romney as a candidate being pushed on them by "the Establishment" -- with "the Establishment" defined as anyone who supports Romney or doesn't support Newt.

Gingrich may have spent his entire life in Washington and be so much of an insider that, as Jon Stewart says, "when Washington gets its prostate checked, it tickles [Newt]," but he is deemed the rebellious outsider challenging "the Establishment" -- because, again, "the Establishment" is anyone who opposes Newt.

Warren Buffett's Secretary Likely Makes Between $200,000 And $500,000/Year ....

Well...good for her....however the phoney NONSENSE people allow themselves to be sucked into.....They all think we're STUPID. Sometimes I wonder if they are right. We get what we vote for....
Warren Buffet’s secretary, Debbie Bosanek, served as a stage prop for President Obama’s State of the Union speech. She was the President’s chief display of the alleged unfairness of our tax system – a little person paying a higher tax rate than her billionaire boss.

1,000 Days.....Since Obama gave us a REAL budget....

It's been 1,000 days since the Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate has passed a budget. That's inexcusable.

Evergreen Energy Files for Bankruptcy, Cites Lack of Financing ......

Lack of financing...?!...how about market demand?????

The company listed assets of about $240 million and debt of $25 million in Chapter 7 documents filed yesterday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Delaware. Chapter 7 proceedings let companies liquidate their assets while being protected from creditors.

Evergreen “remains unable to obtain additional financing and, given its current financial condition, there is substantial doubt that the company will be able to continue operations,” Evergreen said in a Jan. 13 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Clinton surpasses $75 million in speech income after lucrative 2010....

OK...let's see....it's OK for Bill Clinton to make $75 Million on speaking engagements in 2010...but not for Mitt Romney to make $21 Million in same time period......No Media Bias here...and by the way....GOOD for BOTH of them to make whatever they can!!!

Former president Bill Clinton enjoyed his most lucrative year ever on the speaking circuit in 2010, capping a decade of paid speaking events that has earned him $75.6 million since leaving office in 2001, according to a CNN analysis of federal financial records

Tim Thomas should be applauded for conviction....

Conviction of ANY kind is a rare bird these days! To do so in public with the entire media leaning Left is especially refreshing.

It's easy to blast Tim Thomas for skipping the ceremony at the White House on Monday.

All his teammates (even Tomas Kaberle, the original Ochocinco) showed up to meet President Obama, give him the shirt (No. 11) and listen to the president as he pretended to have a clue about the 2011 Boston Bruins (Obama is the most powerful man on the planet and also one of the three or four worst sports fans in America; he's even bad for a politician).

Fast and Furious: Cunningham Will Take the Fifth....

An update to a story from yesterday: Patrick Cunningham, chief of the Criminal Division of the Arizona U.S. Attorney’s office, has “stunned congressional staff” by announcing that he’ll take the Fifth when he responds to House Oversight chairman Darrell Issa’s subpoena next week. Cunningham got slapped with the subpoena after he suddenly backed out of a scheduled appearance before the committee, and Issa’s patience with his delaying tactics ran out.

Obama’s Brazilian Oil Disaster .....

Very interesting adjunct to the Keystone Oil pandering....

Obama has put a tremendous amount of effort into cultivating the Brazilian oil industry. In fact, he offered Brazil’s Petrobras oil company $2 billion in loan subsidies to encourage precisely the kind of offshore exploration he has forbidden American companies to engage in. His offshore drilling moratorium has already cost the American economy over a billion dollars, and killed 20,000 jobs.

Gun rights are natural rights ....Amen.....

Gun control advocates have it all wrong. They believe the Constitution is a document and agreement meant to be twisted and turned. They believe it grants rights to politicians and lawmakers, when it does just the opposite. They believe scare tactics will convince us that placing burdens on gun owners will prevent violent crimes, when all the evidence suggests otherwise.

Why aren't iPhones assembled in the U.S.? It's not due to labor costs.....

If you have an iPhone you have likely noted the small text on the back that states, “Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China.” In the past Apple made all their products in the USA, but that is no longer possible today due to several factors detailed in an excellent New York Times article published on Saturday.

Apple, America and a Squeezed Middle Class.....

This article is a classic example of what is wrong in the US....and China...scares me when I agree with the NYT!

Not long ago, Apple boasted that its products were made in America. Today, few are. Almost all of the 70 million iPhones, 30 million iPads and 59 million other products Apple sold last year were manufactured overseas.

Why can’t that work come home? Mr. Obama asked.

Mr. Jobs’s reply was unambiguous. “Those jobs aren’t coming back,” he said, according to another dinner guest.
