Lawsuit threat cancels Christmas concert ....
A threatened lawsuit had put a halt to what's become a Christmas tradition for members of the Moanalua High School orchestra.
For the past six years, the award-winning group and volunteers from the New Hope Church have raised more than $200,000 for a charity that treats poor people in Africa.
But that all came to a halt on Monday when the Department of Education decided to cancel the concert just four days before the event.
In a letter to the Department of Education, Mitch Kahle, founder of the Hawaii Citizens for the Separation of State and Church, took issue with the involvement of New Hope Church, which handles ticket sales and sells those tickets at its services.
U.S. now 'totally unified' in opposition of U.N. Internet governance.....
Finally they do something right!!!!
In a historical moment of unanimous agreement -- an eye-opening 397-0 vote -- the U.S. House of Representatives voted today to approve a resolution pushing the U.S. government to fight the United Nations in its bid to control and change the Internet at the WCIT-12 summit, currently under way in Dubai.

Elizabeth Warren ended Senate campaign in debt despite record fund-raising ......
Yup...blame bad planning on the volunteers!
Even after raising a whopping $42 million for her Senate race this year - more than any other congressional candidate in the country – the senator-elect from Massachusetts told her supporters that her campaign does not have enough cash to pay its bills.
In an e-mail, the Harvard Law professor - considered one of the nation’s preeminent scholars of American debt - asked for donations to help her wash away the red ink.
Warren did not say how much debt she needs to pay down, but blamed the shortfall in part on the thousands of volunteers who flocked to her campaign, saying “that meant even more last-minute coffee and pizza.”

Tennesseans Rally Against State Obamacare Exchange....
And the GOP thinks "All is Lost"....No...THEY are just lost...the rest of us will fight for ourselves!
An estimated crowd of 500 Tennesseans rallied Wednesday afternoon at the State Capitol Legislative Plaza in Nashville to profess to Republican Governor Bill Haslam that they opposed the establishment of a state-operated health insurance exchange.
America Nears the Demographic Tipping Point.....
I apologize to America’s young people, whose dashed dreams and dim employment prospects I had laughed at, believing these to be a direct result of their voting for Obama.
On closer examination, it turns out that young voters, aged 18-29, overwhelmingly supported Romney. But only the white ones.

Church Calls Off ‘Charlie Brown’ Christmas Show Amid Controversy ......
When...WHEN are we going to fight back? When are we going to stop disappearing quietly into the night? I KNOW in the grand scheme of things this is a minor matter to some...but in the same vast scheme of things...it is not....
Bit by bit...step by step they take our country and freedom away from us through fear.....
And the angel said unto them, Fear not, for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you this day is born in the City of Bethlehem, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; you shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel, a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on Earth peace, good will toward men'".
Luke 2:10A church caught at the center of a controversy regarding a school trip to see their production of “Merry Christmas Charlie Brown” has decided to cancel the show.
The Agape Church in Little Rock, which had initially intended to present the show to school children on Dec. 14, released a statement to KATV regarding their decision, signed by Pastor Happy Caldwell.

New York City Hits Sandy Victims With ‘Failure To Maintain Property’ Citation CBS New York
HILARIOUS...another example of what happens when you wait for the Government....
They got it on Nov. 9, cited with “failure to maintain” their property.
But as they pointed out to CBS 2’s Schneider on Tuesday night, it’s a city tree that they were waiting for the city to remove.
“It was over two weeks before someone came and removed it from the house, and we were patient enough with that, but then to just be slapped with a violation,” Joe Cavaliere said.
'2016' Oscar Snub Has Filmmakers Claiming Political Bias - The Hollywood Reporter
I'm so SHOCKED....Shocked I say...that the Academy ignored this film.....as if the Academy was any kind of serious cousin to it's original self - yeah right.....
Self important sanctimonious actors telling us how to live.....HA!
I'd take a snub as a compliment!
It is a good film...gives you the creeps!
Gerald Molen, who produced the Academy Award-winning 'Schindler's List,' said the box-office success of the anti-Obama documentary proves the film was a hit: "The action confirms my opinion that the bias against anything from a conservative point of view is dead on arrival in Hollywood."

Cops to Congress: We need logs of Americans' text messages......
Once again, against the Constitution...Amendment 4...but what does this Administration care???? Imagine, if you will...this was GWB...........
AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and other wireless providers would be required to record and store information about Americans' private text messages for at least two years, according to a proposal that police have submitted to the U.S. Congress.CNET has learned a constellation of law enforcement groups has asked the U.S. Senate to require that wireless companies retain that information, warning that the lack of a current federal requirement "can hinder law enforcement investigations."
Change on veterans’ gun rights lights fire.....
It's called the "Arena of Ideas" you IDIOTS!
“We’re not asking for anything big,” Mr. Coburn said Thursday evening on the Senate floor. “We’re just saying that if you’re going to take away the Second Amendment rights … they ought to have it adjudicated, rather than mandated by someone who’s unqualified to state that they should lose their rights.”
The late-night tussle served to pick at the scab of the ongoing debate over Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s bid to reform the chamber’s filibuster rules to place limits on the minority party’s ability to hold up debate on legislation, however.
Disabilities Treaty Will Not Help Americans with Disabilities.....
"Committee of Experts"....now THAT'S rich!!!!!!!!! Please forward this on!!!!!!
The Geneva-based Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities would inevitably interfere with U.S. policymaking, thereby infringing on American sovereignty and intruding into matters wholly unrelated to disability rights.
To monitor implementation, human rights treaties usually establish a “committee of experts” to review reports from states parties on their compliance. States parties are required to submit periodic reports (usually every four years) to the committee detailing their compliance with the particular treaty.

Liz emerges to squash all things GOP......
Can't wait til she too "reads the Bills"....excuse me while I hack up a furball....and gives everything her Bi-Partisan consideration....Hack....hack...cough....yack!
Hey, Massachusetts & America...you GET what you deserve!
Saturday, Warren finally publicly emerged to kick off her victory tour in Worcester. She announced her first agenda item is to end gridlock by limiting the rights of the minority party. Obviously, Lizzy got her marching orders from Reid at the freshman orientation.
When Republicans are the minority group it is perfectly acceptable to go after their rights. Any other group it wouldn’t be intolerable.
Senate to vote on U.N. Treaty: Rights of Persons with Disabilities ......
This is truly disturbing.....PLEASE call your Senator!
“I urge you to call the Senate and beg them to vote against this,” Glenn emphasized. Later adding, “This will impact every parent and every — every parent of a disabled child and every disabled person in America. Let alone the world. It is already passed the Senate committee. It is about to go to the floor of the Senate and it must be stopped.”
Only 34 senators are needed to block the treaty that in Article 18, Section 2 states that all “children with disabilities shall be registered immediately after birth.”
“Why are we registering children with disabilities?” Glenn questioned.

One complaint prompts removal of RMV's Christmas decorations ........
ENOUGH! When are WE going to start pushing back????? WHEN???
The Registry of Motor Vehicles in Braintree took down their Christmas decorations after one customer complained.
A customer at the RMV felt it was insensitive or offensive to single out one holiday by displaying a few Christmas decorations in the lobby.
The decorations hadn't been up for long when the complaint came in this week.
A spokesperson for the RMV tells FOX 25 there wasn't much on display. The small tree, some wall decorations and a Santa Clause were enough to make one person upset and that is apparently all it took to get the decor taken down.
Before Raising Rates, Obama Aides Should Pay Their Taxes......
This is what happens when you begin to establish a "Ruling Class".....Road to Serfdom folks!
The debt among Hill employees has risen at a faster rate than the overall tax debt on the government's books, according to Internal Revenue Service data. It comes at a time when some Republican members are pushing for the firings of government workers who owe the IRS and President Obama has urged a crackdown on delinquent government contractors.

As Americans face a fiscal cliff, the Obamas make do with 54 Christmas trees.......
"We have 54 trees in the White House," an excited Michelle Obama proudly told visitors the other day. "54! That’s a lot of trees."
In fact, the Obamas' 54 trees this year are almost 50% more Christmas trees than last year. That was during the campaign before Obama whispered a reminder to the Russians that he had to be careful until Nov. 6, when a victory would give him more "flexibility."
Now, how much carbon do you suppose those 54 trees could be sequestering had they not been chopped by this green president?

Whitlock: After Belcher tragic murder-suicide, why are Chiefs playing? ......
Though I respect his emotion, he does not know a thing about the 2nd Amendment.........
I would argue that your rationalizations speak to how numb we are in this society to gun violence and murder. We’ve come to accept our insanity. We’d prefer to avoid seriously reflecting upon the absurdity of the prevailing notion that the second amendment somehow enhances our liberty rather than threatens it.
How many young people have to die senselessly? How many lives have to be ruined before we realize the right to bear arms doesn’t protect us from a government equipped with stealth bombers, predator drones, tanks and nuclear weapons?
