This kind of did it for me today. Does this reflect what we've become...on Veteran's Day....everyday?

I've watched OWS vilify our country.
I have watched our Politicians..our "Leaders"...fail to lead time and again.
I've watched our media declare a person's life and career "over" because of a broadcast gaff.
When did we become so lazy?
When did we give up on ourselves?
We were once the greatest Nation on Earth! Created by the Sweat, Blood and sacred Honor of our Founders and all those braves souls that stood with them and fought for their beliefs. And though I'm not a deeply religious person...beliefs and truths handed to us by divine providence...yes, by God...by something much bigger than all of us.
When did we allow a 30 second sound bite to frame our decisions that affect our lives and that of our Grandchildren. When did we allow ourselves to become so vacuous - so lazy.

We can because that soldier.....the one who dies...in WWI, Civil War, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, WWII, Afghanistan.....need I go on. The One....of many, who gave that last full measure of devotion....so we could be lazy, selfish...lacking morally, excuse makers....pathetic whiners.
When did we allow this to happen....?
Where we vilify success and ask for our "Fair Share" when we have the best of us dying unwatched in strange lands.
How did we forget who we are?
I thank God today for our military....for without them these days I wonder what we'd look like as a Nation.
Without their SELFLESS DEVOTION to something bigger than they are.
Stop being lazy...we owe it to them.
Stop being selfish and whining for your "fair Share"...go out and get it YOURSELF.
Tell the Government to go to hell. Go back to doing what the Constitution told them was their job. They have after all "Sworn to uphold it".
Learn, Listen, Study....talk....battle in the Arena of Ideas...not in the Parties....but in the Arena of Ideas...
This is where you'll find America's greatness...this is were you'll find the "Pulling ourselves up by the bootstrap" mentality.
It IS this easy!
However it requires your time, your effort, your consideration. Your Vote.
When did we become to careless as to not vote? Ususally about half of us wo can do.
Think about that lonely soldier never wavering in his belief that it is their sacred honor to protect that Right for YOU.

Rick Perry gave a superb speech to NH Cornerstone, a New Hampshire conservative group. The full speech is here and well worth the time to watch (about 25 minutes). In fact, this partisan New Hampshire reporter considers the speech close to perfect for the audience.

The 25-year-old resident of San Jose, California, says he found the first one about three weeks ago on his Volvo SUV while visiting his mother in Modesto, about 80 miles northeast of San Jose. After contacting Wired and allowing a photographer to snap pictures of the device, it was swapped out and replaced with a second tracking device. A witness also reported seeing a strange man looking beneath the vehicle of the young man’s girlfriend while her car was parked at work, suggesting that a tracking device may have been retrieved from her car.

And the tea party was right. The problem with anyone who supported TARP is not that the bailouts were simply flawed or inefficient, but that they ever happened at all. The problem is with those arrogant enough to think the federal government should have the glaringly unconstitutional power to “intervene in the free market” to privatize corporate profits while socializing losses — all at the expense of the American taxpayer.

The tea party thought this was an outrage. Cain thought it was a necessity.

The true colors of the Occupy Wall Street movement are starting to shine through, both in actions and affiliations. As the saga of the latest Herman Cain sexual assault accusations continues, a story gaining steam Tuesday morning deals with the allegations that the accuser, Sharon Bialek, had an interesting embrace with Herman Cain at a Tea Party convention last month. That accusation isn’t coming from just any random observer, however. It‘s coming from a major radio host at Chicago’s WIND-RADIO. And according to her, the encounter may have been Bialek confronting Cain about the alleged assault.

A new book from former SEAL Team Six commander Chuck Pfarrer says that none of the Administration’s stories gave us the full truth, and he’s not happy about it.

You know grandpa was a Republican. You survived because of him. You know grandma was a Democrat. She made life fun. At his worst, he was a bit of a scold. At her worst, she was dreamy and scattered. Actually, maybe that's a definition of the best of the old bipartisanship.

Right now, the 'anybody but Mitt' crowd to me looks like a mix of Perry fans who can't believe any conservative could seriously support those jokers Cain and Bachmann, Cain fans who can't believe anybody could back that loser Perry and that loon Bachmann, Bachmann fans who can't believe everybody's jumped off the bandwagon of the one true conservative fighter, Newt fans who can't believe everybody makes such a big deal about his marital difficulties, and so on. I'm not sure anybody has much of a second choice right now, much less a potential consensus choice. I exaggerate slightly, but right now, it doesn't seem as if many primary voters see many of the options as 'pretty good.' The field is simply 'their guy' versus a bunch of laughingstocks who deserve to be booed off the stage."

DNC Union Favoritism Forcing Furloughs Of Charlotte’s Non-Union Hotel Workers? ...

In February, when the Democratic National Committee chose Charlotte, North Carolina as the host city for its September 2012 convention, it left the door wide open for the Charlotte-area’s union-free workforce to be discriminated against in favor union workers. Although Charlotte’s Democrat Mayor, Anthony Foxx (who is facing GOP challenger Scott Stone in Tuesday’s election), has denied the allegation, it appears Foxx has been misleading Charlotte residents on both his (alleged) job creation record as well as the outsourcing of DNC convention jobs to union labor.

Most of the unemployed no longer receive benefits....

The jobs crisis has left so many people out of work for so long that most of America's unemployed are no longer receiving unemployment benefits.

Early last year, 75 percent were receiving checks. The figure is now 48 percent — a shift that points to a growing crisis of long-term unemployment. Nearly one-third of America's 14 million unemployed have had no job for a year or more.

Panetta Weighs Pentagon Cuts Once Thought Out of Bounds....

That's it...I'm thinking the Military should get a Union to represent them...that way they can protect what they actually DIE for......seems Unions are the ONLY area protected in the US these days....

Under orders to cut the Pentagon budget by more than $450 billion over the next decade, Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta is considering reductions in spending categories once thought sacrosanct, especially in medical and retirement benefits, as well as further shrinking the number of troops and reducing new weapons purchases.

A funny thing happened on the way to the Herman Cain lynching....
