Justice Department memo argues Obama recess appointments were legal ....and when is Eric Holder ever wrong......?
Of course they are....!?....and I have a bridge in Brooklyn I could sell ya cheap!
The Department of Justice offered a defense Thursday for President Obama’s controversial decision to make several recess appointments while Congress was holding pro forma sessions.
In a memo, Justice argued the pro forma sessions held every third day in the Senate do not constitute a functioning body that can render advice and consent on the president’s nominees. It said the president acted consistently under the law by making the appointments.

Reporting from Washington—
In the late summer of 2010, the ATF agent leading the failed Fast and Furious gun-smuggling operation in Arizona flew to Mexico City to help coordinate cross-border investigations of U.S. weapons used by Mexican drug cartels.

Sen. Rand Paul Cuts $500K From his Office Budget, Returns it to the Treasury......
He quite literally put His...."Our" money where is mouth is!
How does he do it? Some would say frugality.
“We look at all of our office expenses. We look at the coffee pot to the computers bought and we try to buy things as if it were our money we were spending, or your money that we were spending, and our goal is not to spend all of it, our goal is to save some of it,” Paul said.

Perry ad: ‘I’m not about to quit’.....GOOD!
It's sad that one mis-step during a STUPID debate has ruined his Candidacy. A theatrical Debate....this is how we pick our leaders. We pick them by whomever can avoid the "Gotcha" line. This, my friends...is pathetic...and look what it got us the last time...
In a new Rick Perry Web advertisement called “Champion,” the Texas governor says he’s committed to staying in the GOP presidential race and is capable of staging a comeback.

The Worst Economic Recovery Since The Great Depression...No surprise to those out here in the Fruited Plains!
The record of President Obama’s first three years in office is in, and nothing that happens now can go back and change that. What that record shows is that President Obama, with his throwback, old-fashioned, 1970s Keynesian economics, has put America through the worst recovery from a recession since the Great Depression.

Pictures of Obama, White House ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Party in 2009 With Johnny Depp....
More "Let them eat cake".....
A lot has been said over the last two days about the White House’s now-infamous “Alice in Wonderland” Halloween party from 2009. It was an extravagant affair featuring actor Johnny Depp and filmmaker Tim Burton in costume. Conservatives have panned the president for having such a party during economic turmoil, and generally keeping it hush-hush. Liberals (and even some conservatives) have defended the president, either saying the party was mentioned to some degree, or that the president‘s Halloween plans shouldn’t be national news.
No matter what side you take, it’s still conceivable that you would want to see pictures from the event, right? We thought so.

Supreme Court Justices ‘Blast’ EPA for Telling Idaho Couple They Can’t Build on ‘Protected Wetlands’......
Can't happen in the US?...Friends, it IS happening in the US. This case is not isolated....
Several conservative members of the Supreme Court criticized the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Monday for heavy-handed enforcement of rules affecting homeowners after the government told an Idaho couple they can’t challenge an order declaring their future home site a “protected wetlands.”
Justice Antonin Scalia assailed the “high-handedness” of the environmental agency when dealing with private property, and Justice Samuel Alito described some of the EPA’s actions as “outrageous,“ arguing that most people would say ”this kind of thing can’t happen in the United States.”

New York Tourist from Ohio Caught With Three Guns in Hotel Room....another "Evl" Tourist....
Hey, Bloomberg....has anyone in NY got an ounce of common sense? You are just wracking up the arrests of Tourists, ey? No salt, No smoke, No guns, No life....Nope, can't say "I Love NY" anymore!
The list of New York City tourists facing gun-possession charges keeps growing. Not only was a Tenn. nurse arrested for trying to check her gun at the 9/11 Memorial, but an Indiana jeweler was taken into custody when he tried to check his firearm at the Empire State Building. And now, an Ohio man who brought his three guns to his hotel room for protection, and had a permit in his home state, has been arrested on similar charges.
