Republicans are beginning to attack the financial regulatory reform bill by attacking the Democrats pitching it as simply not believable.
“Just think about some of the things Americans have been told,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, said on Thursday. “As a senator, the current President railed against deficits and debt. He said America has a debt problem and that it was a failure of leadership not to address it. Yet last year his administration released a budget that doubles the debt in five years and triples it in 10. The debt has increased over $2 trillion since he took office. And in February, the federal government ran the largest monthly deficit in history.”"

When I saw the accusation of Sedition being casually flung out against Rush, Glen, The Tea Party attendees, etc. over the weekend...I have to say I was floored.
Sedition? My 9 year old granddaughter went to the Tea Party gathering in Boston with me because she worries the economy may destroy her family.
Does that mean she is guilty of "Seditious" behavior...or experiencing the most marvelous arena for Free Speech and new ideas?
Racist, Homophobic, Right Wing, Anti-Gay, Anti-Poor, Anti-Obama......and now Seditiocious?
These people couldn't fight in the" arena of ideas" if they were armed with a MOAB!!!!!!!!
Ronald Reagan once said: "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free."
This is now our call to answer....

I couldn't agree more. He forgot who he was and what he stood for in the end. The Military deserve the greatest honor and respect. Are they perfect organizations with perfect people....no. Wall Street is more than a little suspicious of today’s charges by the Securities and Exchange Commission, which has accused Goldman Sachs of lying to investors about who was really behind junk mortgages securities it sold to clients.
Barclays banking analyst Roger Freeman comes right out and blasts the SEC effort as “a well-timed, and perhaps not coincidental, effort to sway some on-the-fence Republicans” to get tough on financial reform.
“Targeting GS, given the flurry of anti-Wall Street press that has centered around that firm, offers the publicity that the administration needs at this critical juncture,” Freeman says in a note to clients today."
