Bloomberg Wouldn't Let Guard Into Brooklyn Over Their Possession of Guns.....

And what does he think the word "Guard" means....?!?!? We're in for ALOT more of this if the election goes South Tuesday!!!

But at least as of Thursday, according to Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, as reported by Eli Rosenburg at the the Brooklyn Paper, which calls itself the borough's "leading news media," the mayor has refused a request to allow the Guard into the borough. Based on resource deployment priorities, the Mayor's refusal could be justified. But wait until you see the actual reason Bloomberg gave for his refusal, one which you might think would have received more media attention by now (bolds are mine):

Sean Smith’s Mother Patricia Smith: ‘I believe Obama Murdered My Son’.....

Patricia Smith, the mother of Sean Smith, a State Department computer wiz killed in the assault, told the paper that she blames President Barack Obama for the death of her son.

“I believe that Obama murdered my son,” she told UT San Diego from the living room of her Clairemont home. “I firmly believe this.”

4 Ohio Men Arrested After Stolen Romney Signs Found in Union-Owned Truck......

Ohio police arrested four men early Friday on charges of stealing Mitt Romney campaign signs that were found in a union-owned pickup truck, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported.

The signs, some as large as four feet by eight feet, were allegedly stolen from private property and business areas in Wood and Lucas counties in northwest Ohio. They were believed to have been put up by the Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition, the newspaper said. Ohio is a critical swing state in Tuesday’s presidential election.

If You're Not Reading This, Please Don't Vote

"I'm guessing that as soon as I walk into the voting booth, I'll probably make up my mind then." So said undecided voter Kerry Ladka, appearing on Greta Van Susteren's program after the second presidential debate. He had just compared and contrasted the candidates, giving Mitt Romney the edge on the economy, Barack Obama the nod on "social issues," and saying that the choice was, at least then, a 50/50 proposition for him. But while it's clear that he isn't exactly two whiskers from politics-wonk status, he also misunderstands his civic duty.

Going out on a limb: Romney beats Obama, handily.....

Fundamentals usually prevail in American elections. That's bad news for Barack Obama. True, Americans want to think well of their presidents and many think it would be bad if Americans were perceived as rejecting the first black president.

But it's also true that most voters oppose Obama's major policies and consider unsatisfactory the very sluggish economic recovery -- Friday's jobs report showed an unemployment uptick.

Also, both national and target state polls show that independents, voters who don't identify themselves as Democrats or Republicans, break for Romney.

Reid says he can't work with Romney ........

The "Left" constantly drums the fairy tale that it is the GOP that has caused grid lock in DC. If so...then what the devil is this? Nobody has even been elected and here Harry Reid is already saying he won't work with Mitt.....nice to see there is an "Open Mind" of the Left also....they care NOT about any of us...they care only about themselves.
But here is the rub...WE give them thier jobs...
WE give them their power....
WE can also TAKE IT AWAY at the ballot box....
And one aside...when the hell did Mitt Romney EVER talk about a "severely conservative" agenda? I'd like to see that quote...but I am betting it doesn't exist...

Mitt Romney's fantasy that Senate Democrats will work with him to pass his 'severely conservative' agenda is laughable," Mr. Reid said in a statement on Friday, trying to puncture Mr. Romney's closing election argument that he'll be able to deliver on the bipartisanship President Obama promised in 2008 but has struggled to live up to.

Mr. Reid, a Nevada Democrat and a Mormon, like Mr. Romney, has become the Republican presidential nominee's chief critic this campaign, at one point accusing him of failing to pay taxes — a charge that Mr. Romney has refuted.

Active service members upset over removal from voting rolls....

This is just so wrong on so many levels there aren't words....We allow dead people to vote though, don't we!?

Local service members who have spent years serving the country are discovering this fall that they aren't allowed to vote in the presidential election.

Valrico resident and Navy Captain Peter Kehrig, who has been abroad for five years tells 10 News he feels cheated by a system that removed him from the rolls.

Florida State Law requires county supervisor of elections offices to perform regular "maintenance" on its voter rolls to eliminate voters who have been convicted of felonies, moved out of the county, or may have died.

THIS is BIGGER Government at work...!?!?!

A six man crew from Decatur Utilities headed up there this week, but Derrick Moore, one of the Decatur workers, said they were told by crews in New Jersey that they can't do any work there since they're not union employees.

The Case for Mitt Romney .....

A President Romney would be utterly unburdened by messianic expectations. If he’s elected, the American public will have hired him to do a job, not to save the planet or redeem our politics. Thankfully. We’ve had enough self-styled heroic government to last us a good long time.

Au Revoir, Mr. President.....

Reviewing the last few months of this tumultuous presidential campaign, I see the debates as having a wondrous salience. The first was the most momentous since Nixon vs. Kennedy, though that 1960 confrontation was mostly a matter of cosmetics. Listening to it on radio, many in the audience came away thinking that the participant with the five-o'clock shadow had won. That would have been Richard Nixon.

More Than A Dozen Fisker Karma Hybrids Caught Fire And Exploded In New Jersey Port After Sandy......

Our source tells us they were “first submerged in a storm surge and then caught fire, exploded.” This wouldn’t be the first time the vehicles, which use a small gasoline engine to charge batteries that provide energy to two electric motors, had an issue with sudden combustion.

Maryland Woman Documents All Taxes Paid in 2012 — Hits $26,000 So Far......

“I just started looking through all of our receipts and tax filings from the past year and made columns for each,” she explained. The middle class Dundalk, MD, resident notes that she had to expand her list a number of times due to the hidden taxes she kept discovering. The average entry features a relatively small amount, sometimes only pennies, but it is all there. Gas taxes, state and federal taxes, special Maryland alcohol tax, cell phone taxes and “Bay Restoration Fees,” road tolls, mandatory union dues, and on and on. A typical entry from the list will look like this:

Romney written in sand on Point Pleasant beach during Obama’s Jersey flyover......

Take that Christie!

Pool report from POTUS trip to NJ: Someone has written "ROMNEY" in large letters in the sand at the north end of Point Pleasant Beach.

ACORN Founder Proposes Mass Pro-Union Wikipedia Editing Campaign........

Wade Rathke, founder of the infamous Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), is attempting to galvanize union members into a mass Wikipedia editing campaign designed to make the online encyclopedia more friendly to Big Labor’s cause.

Paul Ryan goes trick-or-treating......

“This is the route I took when I was a kid,” Ryan told reporters as they walked through the neighborhood. Asked about the race, he said he wouldn’t answer political questions while out with his family.

Rumsfeld on Benghazi's Knowns and Unknowns.....

It is heartbreaking that there were obvious warnings before this happened. There were warnings that the security was inadequate, and there were requests for better security that were not fulfilled. Our government knew it was September 11th, and the anniversary of the September 11th attacks of 2001, yet the warnings, apparently, were ignored.

And when the President characterizes the things that happened there as "bumps in the road," it seems to me that doesn't reflect a full understanding of his responsibilities.

The New Sharia Egypt.....

The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt announced Wednesday, according to the Associated Press, that it was “committed to enshrining Islamic Shariah law as the main source of a new constitution, seeking to mollify ultraconservative Islamists who accuse the group of not advocating strongly enough for Islamic rule.”

Man Arrested For Threatening to Shoot Romney.....

A 19-year-old man was arrested after threatening to shoot Mitt Romney during the presidential candidate’s visit to Ohio, just one of a recent wave of violent threats against Romney that have been downplayed by the media.
