Cool It, Congress - Forbes.com
Cool It, Congress - Forbes.com: "Human interactions take place either by agreement or force. There is no third way. As a general matter, the good libertarian prefers the former to the latter, except of course where force is used in self-defense. We don't make people buy off their assailants, because we don't want to invite future aggressors to come out of the woodwork to collect their bounty. Only negative incentives of defensive force keep mischief makers in line.
Every child grasps this principle, with the notable exception of the children in Congress."
