My heart be still! How long I have waited for SOMEONE to target this area as WASTE! This and pensions is where all the money "For the Children" goes....it almost never trickles down to the actual Classroom and students!
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie ramped up his war on school-superintendent salaries on Monday, ordering a freeze on all contract renewals or extensions for district chiefs until a review is completed.
He issued new rules earlier this month that would limit superintendent pay, meaning pay cuts after current contracts expire for more than two-thirds of the state’s more than 525 superintendents when the regulations take effect in February."
