CBO says taxing cars by the mile could raise money for highways - The Hill's Floor Action

Besides this being a business and household killer....does anyone out there in their RIGHT MIND actually believe this money would go into the "Highway Trust Fund" and not the General SLUSH FUND to be further squandered? If they impose this - what are they going to relieve to give us incentive....???.....What????? Anything? of course not....they want more, and more, and more.......

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) on Tuesday said the imposition of a new tax on cars and trucks based on how many miles they drive would be one way of generating revenues for the federal Highway Trust Fund."
