Disabilities Treaty Will Not Help Americans with Disabilities.....

The Geneva-based Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities would inevitably interfere with U.S. policymaking, thereby infringing on American sovereignty and intruding into matters wholly unrelated to disability rights.

To monitor implementation, human rights treaties usually establish a “committee of experts” to review reports from states parties on their compliance. States parties are required to submit periodic reports (usually every four years) to the committee detailing their compliance with the particular treaty.

 “I urge you to call the Senate and beg them to vote against this,” Glenn emphasized. It is about to go to the floor of the Senate and it must be stopped.”

Only 34 senators are needed to block the treaty that in Article 18, Section 2 states that all “children with disabilities shall be registered immediately after birth.”

The number of American workers collecting federal disability insurance benefits hit yet another record high in October, according to the Social Security Administration.

This month 8,803,335 disabled workers are collecting benefits, up from the previous record of 8,786,049 set in September.

We need a safety net...I bet almost all of us at some time or other have had to lean on it. But that is the key word..."lean on it" as a safety net.

He wasn't talking Elderly. They've earned ( by government formulas and payments ) what they receive....
However there are ALOT of people who don't. All that "Free Money" they keep discussing is OUR TAX DOLLARS......
