Proof: Obama Refused to Call Benghazi 'Terror,' CBS Covered Up........

In an astonishing display of media malpractice, CBS News quietly released proof--two days before the election, far too late to reach the media and the public--that President Barack Obama lied to the public about the Benghazi attack, as well as about his later claim to have called the attack "terrorism" from the beginning.

The nature of the Benghazi disaster is now clear. Ambassador Stevens was engaged in smuggling sizable quantities of Libyan arms from the destroyed Gaddafi regime to the Syrian rebels, to help overthrow the Assad regime in Syria. Smuggling arms to the so-called "Free Syrian Army" is itself a huge gamble, but Obama has been a gambler with human lives over the last four years, as shown by the tens of thousands of Arabs who have died in the so-called Arab Spring -- which has brought nothing but disaster to the Arab world.

Classified Cable Warned Consulate in Benghazi Was Unprepared to Defend Against ‘Coordinated Attack’.....

Less than a month before heavily armed terrorists overwhelmed the U.S. Mission in Benghazi and killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans, the compound held an “emergency meeting” because to al-Qaeda had training camps set up in Benghazi and the consulate could not withstand a “coordinated attack,” Fox News reports, citing a classified cable.

The Aug. 16 cable marked “SECRET” indicated that the State Department’s senior security officer, or the RSO, did not think the U.S. compound could withstand an sophisticated attack — like the one that occurred on 9/11.

He's not cool. He's not hip. He's not even terribly articulate; the teleprompter has become the butt of jokes people don't want to make about the President himself. But this really couldn't have been an accident, a slip of the tongue, could it? Could the President of the United States really have said in the wake of Hurricane Sandy that "Americans leave nobody behind?" Did he really have the nerve to use the words that soldiers use to reassure themselves that their comrades will do everything they can to support them?

The President declined to name names with regards to who he was specifically upset with. However, he presumably meant Republicans and the Republican presidential ticket based on his campaign’s continued efforts to portray the GOP as unnecessarily politicizing the issue and his reference to the second presidential debate, in which he and Romney got a memorably heated discussion about the attack.

“But I do take offense, as I’ve said during one of the debates, that there’s some suggestion, you know, that we, in any way haven’t tried to make sure that the American people knew as information was coming in what we believed happened.”

Senator told me networks may have White House emails commanding counterterrorism group to stand down on Benghazi rescue.....

“There is a rumor — I want to be clear, it’s a rumor — that at least two networks have emails from the National Security Adviser’s office telling a counterterrorism group to stand down,” Gingrich said. “But they were a group in real-time trying to mobilize marines and C-130s and the fighter aircraft, and they were told explicitly by the White House stand down and do nothing. This is not a terrorist action. If that is true, and I’ve been told this by a fairly reliable U.S. senator, if that is true and comes out, I think it raises enormous questions about the president’s role......

Fox News’ Jennifer Griffin appeared on America’s Election HQ today to discuss the Benghazi attacks through the lens of one of her sources, who apparently recounted a number of brutal details about how the situation unfolded on September 11.

Griffin said her source detailed a frantic situation, with Washington repeatedly (and bewilderingly) telling American forces to “stand down,” and with promised reinforcements failing to arrive in spite of being well within striking distance.

Media Blackout: Aside from FOX, Sunday News Hosts Fail to Raise Benghazi........

The mainstream media's silence on the Benghazi disaster reached deafening levels on Sunday, as hosts of four out of the five major news shows--with the exception of Fox News Sunday--failed to raise the issue. Only Bob Schieffer of CBS gave it serious consideration, and only after it was raised by Sen. John McCain.

 The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights.

But those who have been following the disturbing developments in Libya with an open mind know the Obama administration has been lying about what happened there from the start.

The most charitable conclusion one can draw is that during the attack the Obama White House froze under pressure, unable or unwilling to act, as the president geared up for a fundraising event in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada.

However, the one thing I believe we as civilians, and those who serve count on is trust.

Trust that our government will have our back when we reach out to help. When the odds are stacking up so high against us, you hope the Calvary will arrive.

In the military, you hope political correctness and politics won't cost lives...won't stop that Calvary from arriving....

That's what happened to these men.

When they realized there was no hope, they did what American's do...they rose up to the occasion and tried with all their might to make it right.

In his final moments, he lived and fought as he always did. Ty responded to the attack on the Benghazi consulate on September 11, 2012. He fought his way through the enemy and into the compound to defend State Department personnel from attack. Setting up a defensive position, Ty and his colleagues helped evacuate dozens of Americans from the consulate and to a safer position while continuing to defend against the onslaught.

Fighting until his last breath, Ty did what he always had; he inspired, led, helped and fought for the defenseless, for our country, and for us. Ty died as he would have wanted - with his sword in his hand. Ty leaves behind a wife and his young child.

A suspect in last month’s attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was killed Wednesday by Egyptian security forces. Karim Ahmed Essam el-Azizi, a Libyan who had been living in Cairo, was among a group of militants with suspected links to al Qaeda. He was killed by a bomb that he was trying to use against the security forces, according to one official, who did not clarify what role Azizi was suspected of playing in the Benghazi attack. Police also found 15 bombs and an array of weapons in his apartment.

CBS chose not to air that portion of the interview with President Obama--not even in the days and weeks that followed, when it was highly relevant--first to the question of the nature of the Benghazi attack, then to the question of whether the president had in fact called it an act of terror from the start.

According to Fox News, the clip first appeared online on Oct. 19. It was embedded Oct. 24 in an article by CBS News’ Sharyl Attkisson.

What CBS chose to air, instead, was President Obama’s attack on his Republican rival, Mitt Romney, who had criticized the administration’s apologetic response to the Cairo demonstration.

So...what now?....

Numerous Obama administration officials, including White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and even Obama himself, went on TV at different times and told millions of American citizens that the attacks were due to a spontaneous protest sparked by the video. Now it has been uncovered that the administration knew within hours that a terrorist group had proudly admitted they attacked the U.S. compound.

I think everyone knew the WH lied...why we aren't sure....however it IS reassuring to know there wasn't some mind numbing total security failure taking place beyond our decision to not save the American's under siege. At least we knew it was happening and not some innocuous dumb video....however, when it comes to the Drive-by Media...there will be crickets chirping instead of reporting on this.
