Global warming stopped 16 years ago, reveals Met Office report quietly released... and here is the chart to prove it....
The world stopped getting warmer almost 16 years ago, according to new data released last week.
The figures, which have triggered debate among climate scientists, reveal that from the beginning of 1997 until August 2012, there was no discernible rise in aggregate global temperatures.

Energy Dept protects trade secrets of bankrupt solar company .......
Furthermore, the company may have mislead lenders at one point in order to keep itself afloat.
Abound Solar was given a $400 million loan guarantee by the Energy Department, and drew on about $70 million dollars of the guarantee before DOE cut them off in September 2011 — the same month the Solyndra scandal began.

Chevy Volt Battery-Maker Compact Power Lays Off Employees .....
Winners and Losers...I dare say ANOTHER LOSER.....
Just days after President Obama spoke to supporters in Los Angeles about his push for green energy, another government-sponsored, green energy-related manufacturing company announced layoffs.
The company, Compact Power, was the recipient of $150 million taxpayer dollars and millions more in tax deferments and credits. Compact Power was supposed to be building thousands of batteries for the Chevy Volt here in America. Instead, they are furloughing workers before producing a single battery, Fox News reports. Not one.

Gore Blames Altitude for Obama's Debate Woes......
Maybe Cap and Trade would have helped.....REALLY?! This is pathetic....
"Obama arrived in Denver at 2 p.m. today — just a few hours before the debate started," Gore said on his network, Current. "Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet, and you only have a few hours to adjust, I don't know..."
"The president had an off night," a pundit on the liberal network said.

Antarctic Sea Ice Sets Another Record .....
Antarctic sea ice set another record this past week, with the most amount of ice ever recorded on day 256 of the calendar year (September 12 of this leap year). Please, nobody tell the mainstream media or they might have to retract some stories and admit they are misrepresenting scientific data.

Alpha Natural Resources Announces it Will Close Eight Mines and Layoff 1K Workers .....
More recovery at work......
Crutchfield called it “a difficult day,” but said the shutdowns and layoffs are a necessary part of ensuring Alpha survives in what has become a difficult U.S. market, where coal companies face a dual challenge: a shift towards natural gas and “a regulatory environment that’s aggressively aimed at constraining the use of coal.”

Republicans criticize four-gallon EPA gas purchase mandate.....
I'd of been screwed when I was a teenager! Hell, I bought one or two gallons all the time!
“The EPA has no business telling Americans how much fuel they must purchase,” the letter from Republican committee members Jim Sensenbrenner of Wisconsin and Chip Cravaack of Minnesota.
“Furthermore, EPA’s first-ever fuel purchase requirement appears to have been made outside the normal rulemaking process, seems antithetical to free markets, and highlights the flaws in the agency’s hasty decision to grant partial waivers for E15 prior to comprehensive scientific evaluation and assessment,” the congressmen continue.

Strassel: The Party that Obama Un-Built.....
Well framed...and without name calling! Who knew!?
It took Mr. Obama two years to destroy this potential, with an agenda that forced his party to field vote after debilitating vote—stimulus, ObamaCare, spending, climate change. The public backlash, combined with the president's mismanagement of the economy, has reversed Democrats' electoral gains and left a party smaller than at any time since the mid-1990s.

Cost of Chemtrail Program Put At $5 Billion a Year......
Why would one inquire as to whether this was a good idea going forward....on ANY level?
Co-author Professor Jay Apt of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh told Reuters that injecting the atmosphere with sulphur but then suddenly removing it from the eco-system could cause temperatures to jump, indicating that the program would have to be ongoing in perpetuity.
The study completely failed to analyze whether such a massive geoengineering program would be a good idea and what environmental consequences it would have.

President Obama Issues Executive Order on Carbon Emissions and Industrial Efficiency.....
Another "Law" of unintended consequences...only this one could break what's left of our economic back.....
Sure, it sounds nice and (like most things in this administration) it promises a great return on investment, but are there any possible downsides to this executive order?
“This is a fiat from on high for these utilities to change the way they process energy — an enormous capital expense and many of them are going to close down,” Levin argued. “And they only have eight years to do it as part of this ‘cap-and-trade,‘ ’green’ energy, ‘climate change’ bull crap.”
“You’re going to see your bills go up, up, and up some more. And you’re going to see brownouts and one day blackouts,” he added.

Green Profiteers .......
And they wonder WHY there is a Tea Party and WHY we laugh at Global Warming. Global Warming is nothing but a cover for profit and power.....
While the economy limps along, one industry is thriving: Environmental lawsuits against the federal government are moving ahead at a steady pace — and taxpayers are picking up the tab for the expensive litigation.

Day Fourteen and Counting
Day Fourteen and Counting:
Alexandria, VA – For the fourteenth straight day, the three broadcast networks have failed to report on the great and growing ClimateGate scandal on their weekday morning or evening news programs. How to explain this?
Perhaps it is that ABC, NBC and CBS have not yet heard of the story, despite two weeks of non-stop reporting on and discussion of ClimateGate in a whole host of media outlets.
Perhaps the broadcast networks only trust their fellow liberal press outlets, like the New York Times. Perhaps they don’t realize the Times exhibited journalistic diligence on ClimateGate, with a front page story the day the story broke."

David Schoenbrod and Richard B. Stewart: The Waxman-Markey Cap-and-Trade Bill is a Fraud - WSJ.com
David Schoenbrod and Richard B. Stewart: The Waxman-Markey Cap-and-Trade Bill is a Fraud - WSJ.com:
As a candidate for president in April 2008, Barack Obama told Fox News that “a cap-and-trade system is a smarter way of controlling pollution” than “top-down” regulation. He was right. With cap and trade the market decides where and how to cut emissions. With top-down regulation, as Mr. Obama explained, regulators dictate “every single rule that a company has to abide by, which creates a lot of bureaucracy and red tape and often-times is less efficient.”"

Glenn Beck - Current Events & Politics - Glenn Beck: Reasonable questions for unreasonable times
Thank-god someone IS asking and....demanding answers....as we ALL should!!!!
Glenn Beck - Current Events & Politics - Glenn Beck: Reasonable questions for unreasonable times:
Our unfunded liability for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid is close to $100 trillion. Is there any way to pay for these programs without bankrupting America?
- We are in so much debt, why spend more borrowed money on cap-and-trade and healthcare programs before we stop the flow of red-ink?
- The stimulus package funneled billions of dollars to ACORN. How does giving billions of dollars to ACORN stimulate the economy?"

GLENN: Yeah. So anyway, the thing that I did tweet about was the healthcare, and everybody said, 'Oh, look, he's given up on healthcare. They're going to go back and retool.' And I wrote, 'Do not party. Don't celebrate this.' Nothing they're going to come back now and they are going to try to compromise. Nothing. Where's the audio? 'You shall not pass!' We must be like Gandalf and nothing, nothing can be allowed to pass."

Senator David Vitter Signs Pledge : No Climate Tax
Senator David Vitter Signs Pledge : No Climate Tax: "Senator Barbara Boxer, who will be attempting to shepherd cap and trade through the Senate, admitted that the process of advancing such flawed legislation necessitates buying votes. She is quoted in a National Journal story as saying:
“There’s so much revenue that comes in from a cap-and-trade system that you can really go to a person in a congressional district and get enough votes there by saying, ‘What do you need? What do you want? You can really help them.”"
