Air Force General blows whistle on Obama, but media deaf ....

Now imagine this were GWB's Administration....headlines by the MINUTE....

Republican lawmakers say that after Falcon's visit, the Obama White House allegedly tried to push through a Lightsquared's proposed wireless network regardless of the objections emanating from military commanders who believed the project could disrupt key U.S. satellite systems.

At a hearing on Thursday, lawmakers on strategic forces subcommittee, especially the Republican chairman, Michael Turner, requested that the House Oversight Committee investigate if Falcone's company garnered any type of special treatment from the White House or from Obama appointees.

'Romney Offends the Pundits' .....

Good! keep it going Mitt....because he is STILL not standing up for the Country!

The Weekly Standard: The Obama Presidential campaign jumped on the remarks Wednesday as inappropriate, yet a "senior Administration official" had told the website Politico later on Tuesday night that "The statement by Embassy Cairo was not cleared by Washington and does not reflect the views of the United States government." So the White House can walk away from its own diplomats, but Mr. Romney can't criticize them?

MSM Reporters Caught on Open Mic Planning Attack on Romney.....

What's the matter Media? Finally met someone who doesn't cower in your presence?

Their goal was to make sure that no question would address the substance of the crisis but instead put Romney on the defensive about made-up mistakes in his criticism of President Obama.

In the event, six out of the seven questions were almost exactly the same, all questioning Romney for his supposed mistake. (Romney handled the questions very well.)

The American Media Beclowned Themselves Yesterday .....

Mitt Romney was the ONLY American politician.....person in some form of power...to show a PAIR!
I am not a huge Romney fan...but MAN!
Wasn't it nice to see someone say SCREW to the Middle Eastern thugs instead of apologizing again and again for what???????
Don't back down Mitt.....stand your ground. More and more of us daily have your back!

But the media wanted to focus on Mitt Romney.

Yesterday, the media spent much time condemning the Coptic Christians for their movie, but we now know the movie had been out for months and we also know the riots were orchestrated in advance. We also know the attack on the American consulate in Libya used the riots as cover for the attack.

But the media wanted to focus on Mitt Romney.

The Plot Thickens......

It makes me wonder if they have any explicit or implicit mission statement. For example, is it, "My mission as a journalist is to choose a political candidate and then select and slant what I report so as to help him/her get into office." Or possibly, "My mission as a journalist/reporter is to show my like-minded colleagues that I'm one of them." I simply cannot conceive what they perceive their professional responsibilities to be. It apparently never enters their minds.

The top four stories the media has downplayed to help Obama ....

There is nothing new about the national media downplaying stories that lend support to conservative arguments. If a firearm is used to prevent a lethal crime, or unethical activity is uncovered at a liberal institution, the media goes to great lengths to make sure no one notices.

Tapper: Media Failing Country.....

Good for Jake Tapper....I don't agree with him alot...but he's dead on here!

In an interview with Laura Ingraham, White House reporter Jake Tapper said that the media is failing the country.

"A lot of people are hurting out there. Unemployment is 8.3 percent. That doesn’t even take into account the underemployed,” he said, arguing that too much time has been spent not talking about the economy.

Tapper also criticized the media for not giving enough attention to the war in Afghanistan.

Labor Department spends stimulus funds for ads during Olbermann, Maddow shows.....

Now...in an election cycle....JUST IMAGINE the Bush Administration running the same ads...with STIMULUS MONEY....on Fox????? The screams would be deafening!

David Williams, president of the nonprofit watchdog Taxpayers Protection Alliance, called the contract “questionable” because it created no jobs and because of the placement of the ads on shows viewed as friendly to the administration’s policies.

White House Sets Ground Rules for Local Interviews .......

Obama Monday threw the White House press corps a bone by suddenly appearing in the briefing room for 22 minutes and taking questions from a total of four reporters. It was his first press conference at the White House – albeit in miniature – since March, and only his second of the year. Obama before Monday had taken exactly one substantive question from White House reporters since June.

A Look at Paul Ryan’s Fashion Sense ........

Are you flippin' kidding me? Paul Ryan's jacket size is baggy because he needs to display more masculinity...I don't need more coffee...I need a drink.......this is what passes for serious journalism these days.....

I asked my colleague Bruce Pask, the men’s fashion editor of T: The New York Times Style Magazine, for his thoughts on Mr. Ryan’s sizing problem. In an e-mail, he said: “Like many American suit wearers, I think he suffers from the misconception that the size a guy wears directly correlates with his masculinity. In their minds, being a 42 is more manly than a 40. And yet what actually happens when a guy wears something too big is the obvious: he looks smaller, dwarfed by shoulders that are too big, a shirt collar that is too roomy, lapels that are too wide.”
