Release No. 0322.09 "Porkulas"

Contrary to popular opinion in Washington - we aren't morons out there. We can surmise this wasn't for a 2lb. ham....but why is this stuff being paid for out of the Stimulus Bill? Sounds more like a Porkulas Bill...how exactly does this help stimulate the economy???
The "cost neutral" Government paid $1.50 lb....Food Lion posts cost at .79 Cents a LB......

'Through the Recovery Act, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has made $100 million available to the states for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), which acquires food that is distributed to local organizations that assist the needy – including food banks, food pantries, and soup kitchens."
