Sarah Palin: A Leader Without A Party
American Thinker: Sarah Palin: A Leader Without A Party:
The Democrats -- and the Republicans too -- may find the next stage of Sarah Palin's public career uncomfortable. True to form, Sarah Palin, her Governorship behind her, clearly and forthrightly declared her intent: to take up arms against the forces dedicated to tearing down our Constitution, destroying our principles of government, disparaging our history of defense of democracy and free enterprise, weakening our military, and saddling generations to come with oppressive debt and entitlement programs.

Rick Scott Calls Out New York Times' Krugman on Health Care
"Mr. Krugman gets it partly right: meaningful health care reform should be based on four pillars. But his pillars of regulation, mandates, subsidies and competition are all about the heavy hand of government. The four pillars that work are
1) choice: of doctor and of health plan,
2) competition: as in allowing insurance companies to compete across state lines for business as life insurers now do,
3) accountability: as in allowing individuals the same tax deduction for health care as employers get, and
4) rewards for personal responsibility and healthy choices.
And these reforms don't come with a trillion-dollar price tag financed by higher taxes and higher premiums. They're cost-effective and proven to work - exactly the kind of solutions America is looking for right now."

GLENN: I have to start with John Conyers. John Conyers actually no nonparity sort of way actually said this
CONYERS: I love these members that get up and say, 'Read the bill.'
GLENN: Stop, stop. This sound like a comedy show, doesn't it? Doesn't it sound like, I love these ‑‑ so this congress member came up to me and said, 'Read the bill (laughing).' Yeah.
PAT: Why would you do that?"

Military planning for possible H1N1 outbreak - CNN.com:
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The U.S. military wants to establish regional teams of military personnel to assist civilian authorities in the event of a significant outbreak of the H1N1 virus this fall, according to Defense Department officials.
The proposal is awaiting final approval from Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
The officials would not be identified because the proposal from U.S. Northern Command's Gen. Victor Renuart has not been approved by the secretary.
The plan calls for military task forces to work in conjunction with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. There is no final decision on how the military effort would be manned, but one source said it would likely include personnel from all branches of the military."

America Needs a Take-Home Pay Raise - HUMAN EVENTS:
It’s a frustration I hear all the time.
With the mainstream media, Washington insiders and the so-called “experts” in elite universities all singing off the same leftwing song sheet, there is a desperate need for the facts and the arguments that support time honored American values and principles that lead to safety, prosperity and freedom.
The Left can rely on the mainstream media to put out the spin it needs."

Punch to another station, I ask that you listen because I'm going to put something in context, and you've heard some of this audio before, but it needs to be put in with context and heard with fresh ears today."

The universal health care dogs that aren't barking
American Thinker Blog: The universal health care dogs that aren't barking:
Oddly enough, as the nation considers ObamaCare, the press is completely uninterested in the experience of Massachusetts and Hawaii, both of which have ambitious, and failed, experiments in trying to provide universal health care. Mitt Romney, the architect of the Bay State's health care plan, which is costing far more than expected, is largely absent from the airwaves, despite his legitimate claim to be an expert. The Boston Globe calls the plan a 'failure' and notes 'The state's plan flunks on all counts.'"

RUSH: One of the things I wish I'd said on Greta that I said Friday, I want to repeat now, is one of the best points that anybody could make in describing the uniqueness and greatness of this country, do you realize that the history of the world is tyranny? The history of the world is dictatorship. The history of the world is dungeons and torture chambers. That's why this country is so unique. It's just part of human nature for people who desire to have power over other people. There are people in this country who are Americans who have the same view of totalitarianism that all the worst regimes of the world have had. They just are a minority, or have been a minority. They have to be stealth to get anywhere because who's going to vote for torture, who's going to vote for tyranny, who's going to vote for dictatorship? But we did. We did. And you see it slowly encroaching."

The Downside of a ‘Public Option’: Oregon’s Physician-Assisted Suicide Promotion and Overall Rationing of Care - Jeff_Emanuel’s blog - RedState:
If you haven’t, read Erick’s post about an Oregon public health plan (”public option”) administrator responding to a cancer patient’s request for subsidized chemotherapy with a denial of treatment but an offer to fund a physician-assisted suicide.
Now, know this: over the course of this decade, the state of Oregon has put in place a formal procedure for rationing care to patients whose health coverage is subsidized by government (i.e., who are enrolled in some form of the state’s “public option”). To date, they are the only government in the world to have formally done this, though many — from Britain to Canada to states here in the U.S. — work “cost-effectiveness” into their official denials of medical treatment."

We have the best health care system in the world. Most Americans live within an hour's drive of a world-class medical facility filled with expertly trained individuals and state-of-the-art technology delivering medical miracles every day.
But today, as our government attempts an overhaul that will significantly restructure and restrict the way in which doctors provide care to their patients, the health care system that so many Americans depend on is at risk. Currently, more than 250 million Americans have health insurance and the vast majority of them are satisfied with the coverage they have and the doctors they see."
