Barack Obama, G20, deficit, Harry Reid, jobs bill, spending, Democratic Party:
President Obama is good with words but less good with actual actions. At the end of the G20 summit yesterday, Obama wanted to sound like he was on the same page as his 19 other colleagues, agreeing rhetorically, that halving deficits by 2013 is a good idea. Funny, he’s got not a single legislative accomplishment to back up that claim.
At the G20 Obama said, ““What we have to recognize is that the recovery is still fragile…But we also have to recognize that if markets are skittish, and don’t have confidence that we can tackle the tough problems of our medium- and long-term debt and deficits, then that also is going to undermine our recovery,” he said."
