Most of us out here have to do that at $4.00 per gallon in our cars.

I chose not to have kids...one of the reasons is because I didn't think I had the strength it takes to raise children. The inner fortitude it takes to raise a child - children each and every day...it  takes an inner strength many of us can't fathom. To say raising 5 beautiful, successful children as never working a day in her life? This from an Administration that manufactured the "War on Woman"...who took the first shot now...?

Imagine the outrage if a Republican strategist referred to a stay-at-home mom by saying that she was someone who “never worked a day in her life.” How about a mother of five?

The family member believes the reason Holder hasn’t made those arrests is because he, like the members of the New Black Panther Party, is black.

Record 87,897,000 Americans Not in the Labor Force

Amid disappointing unemployment numbers that fell 80,000 jobs short of projections, another number is raising eyebrows: the number of Americans not in the labor force has hit a record high 87,897,000.

This figure explains why overall unemployment dropped from 8.3% to 8.2%, as the Department of Labor's unemployment figure does not include people who have given up hope and are not actively seeking employment.

Sally Coomer from SEIU, Terry Bowman from UAW, and Claire Waites from NEA testified their rights were violated when their union leaders used their dues for political activity they did not support. Chairman Darrell Issa sent out six letters to union leaders and government agencies based on this testimony. The letters went to National Education Association, Alabama Education Association, Service Employees International Union, United Auto Workers, Federal Election Commission, and National Labor Relations Board. Well, the other morning when we got up to GO TO WORK like "most" of us at the butt crack of dawn....I turned on the TV...first mistake.

There was a side by side picture of Cookie Monster from Sesame Street. The commentator asked what was wrong with one of these pictures...

One had Cookie Monster eating...wait for it...a Cookie!

The other one had, yup....you guessed it...all kinds of fruit lying on the counter in front of him...with him eating....don't wait for it, a banana.....

Now, I'm all for kids eating well. However that should be at the hands of their parents. Not the Schools, not the Media, not the Government, not Sesame Street.....the parents.

When I came home from school, we were "allowed" to have a few Chip's Ahoy and we went out to play.

My Mom monitored what we ate and when.....That's what Parents do....

Is God under attack in Massachusetts? This is a question that some of the state’s residents may be asking after the Stall Brook Elementary School in Bellingham removed the word “God” from Lee Greenwood’s, “God Bless the U.S.A.” The song was reportedly changed to, “We love the U.S.A.” Then, following outrage, the school pulled the song all together from a fourth-grade assembly.

The bottom line in this case……. The police in Florida do not have the authority to arrest Zimmerman at this point until an arrest warrant is issued by a competent judicial authority or the Grand Jury.

And believe me….. we do not want to live in a country where police can arrest someone just because the citizens are crying out for it to happen, or, for that matter, because someone on the police department WANTS to.

A majority of us consume chocolate each day. Although the U.S. produces only 6% of the world’s cocoa, we consume more than 20%.

The threat is obvious. It’s time for government to step in and promote alternatives.

Any day, President Obama will be barnstorming the country to tell us, “If we really want chocolate security and chocolate independence, we’ve got to start looking at how we use less cocoa and use sources that we can renew and that we can control, so we are not subject to the whims of what’s happening in other countries.”

At last, the long winter of our discontent is over. America’s pastime has returned to its home fields. Tonight, the World Champion Cardinals take on the revamped Miami Marlins in the United States opener. Tomorrow, the other 28 teams return to work. Although the game has changed to a huge extent since the days when fielders (including catchers) played barehanded and pitchers threw underhanded from 50 feet, and although the game has become almost as international in character as soccer, as fans file into stands today and tomorrow bedecked in their favorite team’s gear, baseball remains an affirmation of the rebirth of spring and of our uniquely American sense of community and competition. And for fans of all 30 teams (except the Astros), it is a day of eternal hope.

The new measure would apply to illegal aliens who are relatives of American citizens. Here is how it would work, according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announcement posted in today’s Federal Register, the daily journal of the U.S. government; the agency will grant “unlawful presence waivers” to illegal aliens who can prove they have a relative that’s a U.S. citizen.
