Joe Biden’s biggest adversary on that debate platform will be…Joe Biden. This guy could screw up a cup of coffee, as evidenced by his oddball remarks at the signing of Obamacare (“this is a BFD”), his claims Republicans would put people “back in chains” and his forcing President Obama into announcing his flip-flop on marriage prematurely.
What should Joe Biden do? Not show up. I wouldn’t be surprised if Chicago called the veep’s office today and told them the debate’s been canceled. Short of that, he should work hard not to blow it by saying something stupid (again).
