Metropolitan Baptist Church in Charleston, West Virginia, has refused to allow Fox News to play the controversial Jeremiah Wright videos from their revival last weekend.

The shocking, class warfare rhetoric, which was originally seen in full videos the church posted on its web site, was first revealed by The Blaze on Monday. Last night, despite video limitations, Fox News host Sean Hannity covered Wright’s shocking statements on his program.

So much for their vaunted tolerance and diversity.

Record 87,897,000 Americans Not in the Labor Force

When I came home from school, we were "allowed" to have a few Chip's Ahoy and we went out to play.

Is God under attack in Massachusetts? This is a question that some of the state’s residents may be asking after the Stall Brook Elementary School in Bellingham removed the word “God” from Lee Greenwood’s, “God Bless the U.S.A.” The song was reportedly changed to, “We love the U.S.A.” Then, following outrage, the school pulled the song all together from a fourth-grade assembly.

Although the game has changed to a huge extent since the days when fielders (including catchers) played barehanded and pitchers threw underhanded from 50 feet, and although the game has become almost as international in character as soccer, as fans file into stands today and tomorrow bedecked in their favorite team’s gear, baseball remains an affirmation of the rebirth of spring and of our uniquely American sense of community and competition. And for fans of all 30 teams (except the Astros), it is a day of eternal hope.

Something's happening to President Obama's relationship with those who are inclined not to like his policies. They are now inclined not to like him. IRS seeks 4,000 agents, $303 million for Obamacare......

The Internal Revenue Service wants to add about 4,000 agents to hunt down tax cheats and still plans to spend $303 million building a system to oversee Obamacare even though its future looks bleak in the U.S. Supreme Court.

A new Government Accountability Office review of the IRS 2012 tax return season and the taxman’s fiscal 2013 budget request also found that the agency’s customer service rating has slipped and 5.5 million returns were delayed a week because of a computer programming glitch.

The woman, 70, who has a heart condition, and her husband, 72, have temporarily moved to a hotel to avoid the spotlight and possible danger, said son Chip Humble of Longwood.

President Obama's National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order of March 16 does to the country as a whole what the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act did to the Constitution in particular -- completely eviscerates any due process or judicial oversight for any action by the Government deemed in the interest of "national security." Like the NDAA, the new Executive Order puts the government completely above the law, which, in a democracy, is never supposed to happen. The United States is essentially now under martial law without the exigencies of a national emergency.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, Hashim Nzinga, 49, of Norcross, Georgia, was arrested at the probation office he was reporting to, police said today.

He was taken to DeKalb County Jail in Decatur, Georgia, and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

A warrant was sworn out after evidence surfaced that Nzinga tried to pawn a semiautomatic handgun at a pawn shop.

Nzinga serves as the New Black Panther Party's chief of staff. He recently made news after offering a $10,000 reward for the capture of Zimmerman.

Trayvon Martin was suspended from school three times in the months before he was shot dead by a neighborhood watchman, it emerged today.

The new claims, revealed in a leaked report, paint a different picture, one of a teenager who frequently found himself in trouble with authorities.

It was also revealed that he might have attacked a bus driver, according to a Twitter account that some claim belonged to the teen.

The Miami Herald claims that in October, he was caught with a 'burglary tool' - a flathead screwdriver - and 12 pieces of women's jewellery. Martin insisted that they did not belong to him.

Pay $219 a month toward his more than $20,000 in defaulted student loans, or Pioneer Credit Recovery, a contractor with the U.S. Education Department, would confiscate his pay. Campos, disabled from liver disease, makes about $20,000 a year.

Lee’s announcing the home address on Twitter to his 250,000 followers had the intended response, as Lee supporters replied with a slew of death threats toward Zimmerman including “Dead,” “Let’s go smash this n*#gga,” and “Let’s turn up the heat on his b*tch ass.”

It may prove difficult for Lee, however, to fit the shooting neatly into his simple “black-white” view of the world because Zimmerman happens to be Hispanic.

Beware Beacon Hill's charge of tax-and-spenders' brigade....

I appreciate that Speaker of the House Robert DeLeo has said there will be no new taxes this year and has stated his opposition to Gov. Deval Patrick's proposal to tax candy and soda. The speaker has earned some credibility from Massachusetts citizens because of his support for public employee health care and pension reforms. I think he is sincere in his "no new taxes" message.
